Great beach house

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Close enough to grocery stores and restaurants for quick trips. Beautiful view of the ocean from multiple rooms/balconies. We would stay here again.

Amazing

The property is perfect for family or friends of 6. The views are amazing and the property beautifully decorated. The beach access is a little tricky at the bottom but there is an easy beach access just a short walk away. The fact that the house has beach access is a plus. A pleasant surprise was the casino was having their 30th anniversary and had a fireworks display that we had a perfect unobstructed view from the upstairs loft. What a wonderful house. Book it, you won't be disappointed.

Great property

Very comfortable, rooming but cozy. Beach is beautiful, easy beach access a short walk away or from house if you can do the stairs and some large rock steps at bottom. Overall, a very pleasant, fully functional property.

Wave Crest getaway

We have stayed here before and came back again. We love the Roads End area and this home. There are a few things that could be improved upon but we love it there. The outside needs a paint job and the windows and sliding doors all need screens on them as they are missing. Plenty of bedding and towels and supplies for sure. There is no better view on the planet. We recommend this home!

Stunning Ocean Views

Excellent house for three couples - was especially great that each bedroom has its own bathroom. House is comfortable and very well appointed. Unfortunately, we weren’t notified before our arrival that the dishwasher wasn’t working and needed repair. Not ideal to hand wash dishes all weekend.

Great house and view

Overall the house and view were great, but for the price I felt that a 5pm check in was excessively late. I understand others were staying at the property before us, but a 6 hour cleaning window after the guests are asked to strip sheets, start laundry, clean dishes, and take out trash seemed like more than standard from my experience. It would have been nice to have more time in the house.

Not happy with the stay

We were not able to check in until 4:30 because they were still cleaning. The bedroom on the beach side said and showed pictures of a balcony which had been removed. That bathroom had broken tile which I cut my arm on and one of the showers in another bedroom didn’t work

Lovely Wave Crest

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I plus two other couples enjoyed our recent stay at Wave Crest. It was our second stay there, but not our last. The house is perfect for three adult couples because there are three separate ensuite bedrooms/baths. The house is right on the beach with several stairs down to the beach. We saw beautiful sunsets almost every night during our early September stay. The home is furnished with lovely decor. There is a nearby Safeway for fresh groceries, and there are numerous restaurant from which to choose.

Million dollar view

We absolutely loved the home. The view was breathtaking! However I had saw in the advertisement of the property that the fireplace was not working so I contacted Meredith properties. I asked about the fireplace & they said they knew nothing about it not working. When I got to the property the living room fireplace was working and it was awesome but the upstairs faux fireplace didn't work the clothes washing machine didn't work & there was a warning sign in the master bathroom that warned against using the shower. So my only complaint is why didn't they just tell me these things didn't work when I contacted them? I was going to stay there anyway I just need to know what I'm walking into. Overall we really enjoyed the stay and really loved the house.

Great location

I read reviews from a year ago of complaints about the couch being dirty. Unfortunately, it had still not been taken care of. We found an extra sheet set and covered the couch. An area rug could use a good professional cleaning too. The rest of the house was nice and clean. The view, access to the beach, games in the garage, and on suites for every bedroom was a great bonus. The kitchen was adequately supplied. There was plenty of room for six adults. Other reviews talked about rocks at the bottom of the stairs to the beach being a problem. These rocks had flat areas and were like steps. The six of us had no problem using them. There were walking sticks in garage that would be a benefit to some. I would highly recommend this place IF the couch has been properly cleaned or replaced.

Great location and view

We reserved this house because of the space and amenities listed in addition to the direct beach access and views. The home was clean and spacious as listed however, while the listing does state the home's balconies shown in the pictures have been replaced by Juliette balconies, I feel the online pictures should be updated to reflect that. The only way to know about such changes is by a small note at the bottom of the listing. While this was disappointing what was more disappointing was that none of the sliders or windows have screens so you cannot keep any of them open due to all the flies. Also, the bbq listed was not in working order, it was completely broken. In addition, the downstairs furniture needs updating as it feels very cheap and uncomfortable. Other than the above mentioned, the location was in a quiet neighborhood, directly on the beach with beach access (a bit difficult at the bottom of the stairs as there are only large rocks at the seawall which may be difficult for elderly or small children.

Wave Crest vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family, and my sister's family stayed at the Wave Crest for spring break in March. The house is super fun, big enough for everyone, and you can't beat the view!!! We did have some issues that we called the rental company about on our first full day. The upstairs master bath shower had leaked down on to the book shelf in the kitchen, and it was coming out through the light fixture so that freaked us out a little. There were many spots on the tile in the living room downstairs where they were loose, and they popped in the kitchen too. While the gentleman was there checking our leak, we mentioned that the microwave handle had some damage as well. That was the only time we needed anything! So I hope that those issues are addressed, especially the shower!!! Yikes! But overall the house was great!!! The stairs were awesome to use to get down to the beach! A couple of things I would suggest would be to get a few more dishes for the house. Spray for spiders, we had several that first day we had to take care of. Get some extra blankets and sheets for the sofa bed. Some of the blinds were hard to use. I may be missing something, but I think that's it! It really is a fun, spunky house in a great area and I would stay there again, and suggest it to my friends!!! Thank you for letting us borrow your home!

A bit overpriced

The house was clean and each room has an en-suite and balcony, which was really nice. There’s a drawer in the kitchen with silverware that would not close and the framing around the windows could just slid out- this house isn’t as done as one would hope paying that kind of money with the fees etc. The other issue is beach access. The stairs had a railing all the way down to the sea wall but then it was just big rocks you had to climb down. My elderly mother could not get to the beach and we specifically got this property bc of the picture of the stairs with railing. The property should state this issue. The beach access and the kitchen drawer (sounds petty but was actually really annoying) were our only complaints really. I think I will look elsewhere next time I go to the coast.

Girls trip!!

My sisters , aunt, and I celebrated my mom’s 70th birthday here. It was a perfect location to be able drive up to the shops, drive a short distance for a whale watching tour and to just stay home and enjoy the view. We saw whales from the deck one evening thanks to the binoculars there. We took the private steps down to the beach at low tide to walk to the tide pools and see starfish. The house set-up was perfect with three bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs and a bathroom downstairs. The beds are very comfortable!! Overall, a great place to stay!!

Location, Location, Location

Pre-arrival communication and check-in was excellent. Furnishings especially in the living room are dirty. The 2nd story northeast guest bathroom had mold on the outside base of the tub. The view of the Pacific Ocean is stunning . The kitchen is well equipped with easy to use appliances. Overall the photos online are accurate, but the filter used on the images make everything seem shiny and new. That is not the case. Solid 4 star experience overall.
