The home is perfectly located on a quiet point with a charming gazebo as pictured. The house layout was exactly what our three generation family needed. There are plenty of common spaces for togetherness and separate wings for privacy. Highland Lake is the highlight!

Perfect getaway

The weather was awesome and the Lakehouse was the perfect place to enjoy it. This was our third year visiting and we’ll definitely be back!

Great home and location!

We stayed for a long weekend to celebrate my son’s 14th birthday. The house is tastefully decorated and feels newly renovated. The location is lovely! Perfect spot for a relaxing stay.

We try to come to this rental every summer with the family! It is everyones favorite location. Easy lake access with plenty of water sport options to choose from. Clean beach within walking distance. Spacious house with games, books, a tv.

Snowy Family vacation

We had such a great little family vacation here. It has beautiful lakes views in every room of the house. The host was beyond wonderful. There was more than enough linens, the kitchen was fully stocked with all amenities and the house was immaculately clean. We will be returning in the summer!

Perfect Lake House for Families

This was our second time staying in this house and it is spectacular. The kids love the double loft beds, foosball and water activities. The adults loved the tranquil lake, spotting the resident bald eagle, and enjoying being active on the lake. Love this house!

This is one of the most beautiful properties on Highland Lake. No matter where you look, the views are breathtaking. The home is large and comfortable. We are a family of 10 with an infant. Cooking and eating meals together is easy inside or out. The property comes with several water craft and we bring floats to maximize lake time. This was our second stay and we are already planning to return!

Overall great stay!

The location and home are awesome! This was our second stay and we will definitely be back. The area, house and water are so, so inviting. The only things that need improvement, are the basic supplies, such as paper towels, dish detergent, dish washer detergent, trash bags. Also, the propane tanks. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Our stay for 2023 Christmas with 6 adults and 1 baby was great! The family room/kitchen is an open concept with great light. The porch/3 season room was nice for those who needed to work as well as for the dogs. The bedrooms have nice windows and have a nice cozy feel. Overall, our stay was a good one.

Great lakehouse for families!

We loved the home with the beautiful serene view of lake. There was more than enough room for our family of 7. The best part was having the grandkids explore the shore and peddle boating while sitting outside watching them and the incredible birds. The kitchen had all necessary items as well as linens were all clean and fresh. Decor is really clean and nice. Beds were comfortable. Highly recommend!

Beautiful spacious home and location as well as very clean and the gardens beautiful and well groomed. Saw 2 Bald Eagles right across the lake on top of a dead branch of a pine tree and a beautiful black bear from the car on our way back from church. Very relaxing and serene. There are plenty of water toys and life jackets for all sizes to enjoy being out on the lake. I would love to come back here again!

Beautiful Holiday

We stayed with our adult son for Christmas to be close to family. The house is just as described and the views of the lake were amazing. The kitchen is well stocked and there were plenty of linens/ blankets. It was extremely cold outside but the house was cozy. We enjoyed watching ice skaters on the lake and had a wonderful Christmas!

Clean with hotel- like amenities!

The house was immaculately clean and the rental company provided plenty of towels, linens and hotel style soaps and body wash. The property included a large dock (bigger than depicted in the posting) with 3 kayaks, 2 paddle boards, a rowboat and canoe with all required life vests. The house had plenty of common areas, including 2 patios/ decks and an all season room which provided a lot of hang out space for our family of 10

Beautiful modern spacious lakehouse

There are many things I love about this house....it's only one hour from Staten Island,it's great for teens and older kids as well as younger ones.Twenty minutes away is a great town called Warwick.There is bowling,billiards,shopping, restaurant,treescape,horse back riding,zoo and a mining museum.Or you could just relax and take the boats out on the lake all day...That's exactly what we did.Love this place!

This was our second stay at "The Point" and we've already booked for next year. Our crew included a 2 year old and a 94 year old plus two dogs who love to swim. The house was so clean upon arrival and the host thoughtfully left a couple of bottles of local wine as well as enough paper and cleaning products so that we did not have to drop and shop. The kitchen was well equipped and linens were clean and fresh smelling. We really appreciated the gorgeous views from the house, large rooms spaces and abundant seating as well as the selection of floating vessels available to us! But the piece de resistance is the gazebo at the point. Used regularly for early morning meditation and evening nightcap watching the sun set over the lake. Can't wait for June 2024!

Beware

The conditions of the bathrooms and other rooms were embarrassing. Only the pictures can describe the run down condition. My family was appalled and did not use the bathrooms and showers. The overall rating for this listing was clearly obtained by cherry picking only the positive reviews. I do not expect this to be posted and will likely be swept aside. I stayed here in Feb and the terrible experience is still fresh in my mind. 4.9 out of 5 is laughable. The pictures tell it all, I wish this review would allow attachments.

Perfect getaway

The lake afforded a stay that was beautiful and allowed for much activity. The kayak, rowboat, paddle boat and paddle boards were great fun. The views were awesome and being outside was just perfect!
