The property is a beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood about 15 min from downtown Truckee. It worked perfectly for hosting the grandparents for my son's wedding. It is close to ski resorts as well as the Reno Airport. Kristin answered all my questions during the months leading up to the wedding. The ability to use the garage was an added plus.

We loved our stay at Kristin's home -- it was clean, spacious, well stocked, and exactly as described. We especially loved the back yard area where it opened up to into woods area and the kids were able to run and play and be kids. Note that there's no AC which is common in the Tahoe area; we came during a particularly hot weekend and the house stayed perfectly cool. Really quiet, secluded, and beautiful area; a little tough to find at arrival (so be careful esp if you come at night) and a 10-15 min into town if you need anything. We loved being able to bring our dog who loved walking around the area. If I had one feedback for the home, and it's really not a big deal -- the living room TV is kind of small for how big the living room is -- this wouldn't stop us from coming back but just noting!

Quiet stay in the mountains

A quiet mountain home, coffee in the morning on the back patio before the day starts. Visit the surrounding area… return home to finish the day again enjoying the spacious home, patio, hottub. Close to Truckee and Lake Tahoe for an easy commute.
