Herons Rise | Metung Holiday Retreat

Welcome to Herons Rise, a serene and sunlit Metung escape framed by gentle water views over Bancroft Bay. This charming three-bedroom home offers a relaxing lakeside stay just a short walk along the boardwalk to Metung Village.

Inside, there are two queen bedrooms and a third room with two single beds, comfortably sleeping six guests. The fully equipped kitchen comes with a full-size fridge, electric stove, oven, dishwasher and a gas BBQ. There's a single bathroom with both a bath and a separate shower, plus a laundry area with a washing machine and clothesline. The living area opens onto a deck that spills from the lounge and two of the bedrooms, where you can savour bay views. For your comfort, there's air-conditioning, ceiling and pedestal fans, a wood fire, a TV with DVD, and a jetty berth for boating. Smoking is strictly not permitted, and pets arent accepted.

The property has a damp smell due to old run down carpets. It definitely needs to be replaced & update couch(also has a damp smell) and a fresh coat of paint.

Lovely home

The house was lovely and the view simply amazing. Few issues with check in and found the communication with the managers a little lacking. Dishwasher did not work but otherwise the home provided all we needed.

Herons Rise

Excellent elevated location with great views to the east across Bancroft Bay. Interior was very neatly presented and we were very happy with the well equipped kitchen. The carport is spacious and we used it for the storage of our little boat during our stay. Very comfortable beds.
