Broken Hot Tub
Our stay at this VRBO rental had its highs and lows. The main positive was the pool. It was fantastic. clean, well-maintained, and provided enjoyment for our kids. The outdoor space was lovely, and we appreciated the effort put into creating a relaxing atmosphere.
However, we were disappointed to find that the hot tub was out of order during our stay. It was one of the main features we looked for when searching for a rental, so its malfunction was a letdown. While we understand that mechanical issues can arise, it would have been helpful to have been informed about this beforehand or to have received a remedy so we could use the hot tub during our stay. We had inquired about the hot tub the day before check-in and also asked how to use it when we checked in because it was not hot. I would have expected that checking the mechanicals of the property, including the hot tub, would be part of the rental turnover process. To make up for the hot tub issue, the rental management turned on the pool heater which was a nice offer but unnecessary since the pool temperature was already comfortable.
Overall, this VRBO rental has great potential, especially with its pool and secluded location.
