Villa Maura is a detached house in a dominant position over a green valley. Villa Maura is the perfect solution to combine sightseeing in Tuscany and relax. Villa Maura is part of a little holiday home complex, with wonderful pool and large park.
On the ground floor there is a large room with AC, dining and living room with sofas, a separate well- equipped, light-filled kitchen. A marble stairway with iron wrought handrail leads to the air conditioned first floor. Here there are: 'Camera Oro', a double bedroom with walk-in closet and balcony and 'Camera Argento' with 3 single beds or one double and 1 single bed. Both bedrooms have AC units. There are 3 bathrooms with shower or whirlpool bathtub. In the basement there are the ping pong and the laundry room.
A large French door in the dining room leads to your private garden with BBQ so that you can cook your Fiorentina steaks, grill slabs of bread, pour a young Chianti and eat with your family, relaxing alfresco.

Why they chose this property
My father (Furio, hence "La Scuola di Furio") bought this property in the late '90. It was in such a state! No heating, no electricity, no running water! He started to restore it (with Italian burocracy, this process can take a lot of time and even more patience!), then came with this idea: 'Why don't we rent to tourists?'. At that time (pre-internet era for me) I thought it was a terrible idea. 'Tourists in Fucecchio? This is not going to happen!'. How wrong I was!

It is easy to fall in love with this location! Splendid views over a tranquil valley, fantastic pool. Real possibility of reaching from nearby Empoli train station: Florence in 24 minutes, Pisa in 28 minutes and Siena in 45 minutes (stress free solution), or Lucca in under 30 minutes by car.
