Avoca Farm Chalet - Youngs Siding.

Avoca Farm Chalet is set amongst the beautiful peppermint, eucalyptus and karri trees of the south coast of WA. Located in-between Albany and Denmark, we are just 10 minutes drive from the great fishing and surfing beach Lowlands, and only 20 minutes from several other scenic beaches and look out spots.
Avoca Chalet is self contained and provides total privacy with modern decor in a beautiful part of the world.
The Chalet is located on a working cattle farm and guests are welcome to take a stroll past the paddocks up to our beautiful karri forest (amazing picnic spot). Guests are also welcome to visit our barn and interact with our curious alpacas and the friendly horse 'Clyde'.

We had a relaxing long weekend at Avoca farm chalet.The barn animals were friendly and we enjoyed feeding them, when food was available. The chalet was clean and comfortable, but it is located close to the cottage and homestead. We appreciated the games, puzzles and dvds as there was no wifi. Thanks for a relaxing stay.

We had a wonderful stay over the Christmas break, chalet was lovely, very quiet, comfortable and amenities were very good.My grandson also loved the farm animals and our kelpie had plenty of room to roam in the enclosed garden space.The chalet has a lovely front deck where you can sit watch and listen to all the wild birds, so relaxing!Thanks for a wonderful break

Peaceful location

Loved the chalet and interesting to read of its history as a former store. Beautiful location and not too far to travel to either Denmark or Albany. The Youngs Siding Store has a good range of items and the Melting Moments are delicious! We enjoyed meeting the animals especially the horses and llamas. Would love to stay here again!

If you are choosing between several places to stay and want a quiet, comfortable farm stay, Avoca Farm Chalet is a great option. We really enjoyed our time here and felt comfortable from the first moment.The chalet is very clean, well-maintained and thoughtfully set up. There is everything you need for a relaxed stay — comfortable bed, kitchen essentials, hot and cold water, heating, and a simple barbecue outside. Nothing felt missing or inconvenient.One of the biggest advantages is the atmosphere. It is peaceful and quiet, surrounded by nature, with birds singing in the morning. It feels like a real break from busy life, perfect if you want to slow down and rest.The hosts provide excellent service — everything was organised smoothly and with care. Even though you need to drive to Albany and Denmark, this was not a downside for us. We expected it, and the calm farm setting made it completely worth it.Overall, if you are looking for a clean, quiet, well-equipped chalet with a relaxing rural atmosphere, this is a place we would confidently recommend and happily choose again.

Great Winter Stay

We really enjoyed staying at the house - the location is great with good links to Denmark, Albany and surrounding area. We enjoyed sitting out on the spacious outdoor / patio area and in the garden containing a variety of bushes that attracted abundant bird life; it is also well-designed if bringing your dog. Nice wood-burner to stay warm at night in main room!

Exceeded Expectations

This property had been recommended to us as we were travelling with our young children & it exceeded our expectations. The cottage is cosy (fireplace), and being able to feed & hold the animals was awesome. We will be back for sure!
