Moonwaters Holiday Cottage

Moonwaters is the most romantic getaway, overlooking Wilson Inlet on Weedon Hill. This cedar clad cottage sits amongst the Karri forest where a path leads to the Bibbulmun Track and a beautiful inlet beach. Moonwaters is simple yet has all the modern comforts for a family or couple. If you are seeking romantic seclusion it is perfect. There are three bedrooms, living and dining rooms, a bathroom with bath and a well-equipped kitchen. Chilly winter holidays can be spent bushwalking or at home by the pot belly stove with the piano, DVDs, free WIFI and Netflix to keep you entertained. You can barbeque amongst the trees to the sounds of the forest. Keep an eye out for the myriad of birds that will visit if an offering is made. About 3kms from Denmark town on Weedon Hill, Moonwaters is ideally situated to visit beaches, wineries and other local attractions. Moonwaters has a main bedroom with a queen sized bed, built in robe, bedside tables and a chest of drawers, another bedroom with a double bed and a third bedroom with twin single beds. All linen and towels are supplied. There are two rates: The high season covers school holidays including Easter and Christmas and New Year and all public holiday weekends. All other times are classified as low season. If you have friendly and well trained pets you are welcome to bring them along, however, we would appreciate it if you didnt allow them on the beds and furniture. A cleaning surcharge of $35 will apply to all approved pets that stay at Moonwaters.

The property was dark & dinjy. There was inadequate lighting. One of the bedside lamps didn't work. There were no teatowels & only 3 coffee mugs for 4 people. The outside area was strewn with leaves & debris. The cottage did not live up to the photographs or description. Was very disappointed. Would not recommend Moonwater.

Forest bliss

Second stay for us with our little dog, love it so much. Affordable, comfortable, surrounded by nature, bird life, proprietor most accommodating. Suits us perfectly - we will be back.

Beautiful place

This is an excellent property in lovely Denmark and pribably in the town's best location. Karri forest and birds regularly visiting the balcony are the highlights of our stay.

Good budget stay with great views of the inlet! Overall good place to stay, close enough to town but far enough to feel you're away. Place is getting abit tired and could do with a attention.

Perfect to unwind

Located in a stunning setting, it had everything we needed for our stay. Nice and cozy. We did have an issue but the communication with the owner was quick and was sorted out satisfactorily. It was also great to stay in a nice home with our dog. We would definitely stay again.

Natures sanctuary

Great little gem amongst the beautiful trees and forest of Denmark. We loved its tranquillity and literal doorstep to so many walks. The fire at night was a treat and the gentle morning chatter of birds the perfect start to the day.

A Beautiful property with Amazing Bird life right in the middle of the Karri Forest.. walking tracks and a short drive too town With views of the Bay this was a perfect place to get away too... u will not be disappointed

Thanks for having our family of 3 + dog at your cottage. We loved the nearby bush walks and tranquility of the bush setting. Would suggest some maintenance of the fireplace & provision of firewood for the chilly nights.

Fantastic Weekend Getaway

Moonwaters chalet was amazing and peacefully everything’s you need is there ,great location too. We had 3 nights break at the chalet coming from family holidays in Bali was so peaceful the birds was singing fantastic cool wealther Very beautiful chalet love to come back and stay longer. Escape to the country

The property is fine albeit overdue for a refresh. The internal walls are very thin so you can hear everything. The log burner was great and the view was stunning.
