We had a group stay here for a rock climbing trip we had planned at Smith Rock. Little did we know, there was incredible outdoor bouldering right below the house down by the river! The views were incredible and the house had everything we needed for our group. Will absolutely stay at this listing if we come back again :)

Hi Sara! Thank you for your 5-star review. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. We agree ... the views and location are hard to beat. We loved hosting your group and hope you will book with us again!
Spent a week here with family and it was great. We spent a lot of time hiking and on days that we didn't drive out, we'd walk the River Trail. The kitchen is small, but we managed. The spa out on the deck was used every day. All in all, a great place!

HI Sandra! Thank you for your 5-star review. We are so glad you had an enjoyable stay. We loved hosting your family, and hope you will book with us again!
We enjoyed the location with Deschutes River Trail, right out the door, the views, the access to the Old Mill area, and were pleasantly surprised to find such easy convenient access to EV charging on-site! The condo was great, comfortable beds and spacious enough for 6 of us, as long as we didn't all try to fit into the kitchen at once.

The house was in a quiet, primarily vacation lodging with a great river view. The layout was super usable and the property clearly isn’t new but it’s overall well maintained. Some of the listed amenities are seasonal and the management is general but professional. While the location is on the edge of town, it’s the “right edge” - close to the mountains and outdoor fun but still less than 10 min from the center of town and in the area least likely to get buried in traffic.

Hi Ari! Thank you for your 5-star review. We are so glad you had an enjoyable and comfortable stay. We loved hosting your getaway, and hope you will book with us again!
The place was clean, well appointed, comfortable and great access to skiing.
Unfortunately the streaming service the owner subscribes for television was so poor that no regular networks (e.g. CBS, ESPN, CNN and few others) were available. I would encourage the owner and property manager to upgrade the television service, reconnect to cable or list the property as having "very limited television"

Hi Isaac! We are so glad you had an enjoyable and comfortable stay; however we are sorry there were issues with the streaming services. We will share your feedback with the owner and the local property team. We value your booking, and do hope we have the chance to host you again!
Check in was easy, the code lock on the door was convenient. The property was lovely, and the view of the Deschutes River was incredible. There was easy access to the trail along the river which was great for running/hiking and the kids had a blast on the riverbank. Very convenient location, very quick trip into town, could also run/bike/walk to downtown Bend. The gas grill was a nice touch and cleaning supplies were available. The decor was a bit dated and room on the balcony was slightly cramped, but we were able to fit 4 people outside for meals. The hot tub was a nice feature but we only used it one night and only for 10 minutes or so. The master bedroom is beautiful and impressive, but the skylight prohibited us from being able to sleep there (my partner needs the room very dark or else is woken up when the sun rises). We had to swap bedrooms with my daughter as a result. The kitchen was small but well-stocked with equipment, so we were able to prepare most of our own meals. It was difficult to fit more than 1 person in the kitchen at a time. The living/dining open concept area was very nice and we used the big table there for breakfasts and desserts. I would definitely stay here again if I was visiting Bend.

Overall, our stay was great. The view is incredible and there is easy access to the Deschutes River Trail. The accommodations were comfortable for my family to all have our own rooms and bathrooms, but it did get a bit warm upstairs at night in July. We opened the windows at night, but when the sun rises before 5 AM and the birds start singing, the windows need to be closed. Perhaps some blackout curtains and a cooling unit upstairs like the ones in the downstairs bedroom? The small kitchen was useful and had what we needed. The grill was quality and nice to have! I was a bit frustrated that I was informed that the hot tub was not working a week prior to my visit, and was still not fixed upon our arrival. The fridge did make a loud noise when it ran, but these were not deal breakers. I did have a hiccup when trying to check in. I had to sit in the parking lot for a bit and contact the rental company via phone to receive entrance instructions because they were not provided ahead of time. These were all minor things. We still loved the place and enjoyed our stay. We even saw several deer during our stay, one just below the balcony! The inconveniences are just opportunities for improvement. Thank you for sharing this place with us!

Hi Carrie. Thank you for your thoughtful feedback. We're so glad you enjoyed the views, trail access, and that the space worked well for your family. We appreciate your notes about the upstairs temperature, early light, and the suggestion for blackout curtains and a cooling unit — we’ll definitely take that into consideration. Apologies for the delay with the hot tub repair and check-in info — we’re working on improving communication and resolving those issues. Thanks again for staying with us, and we’d love to welcome you back for a more polished stay in the future.
We had such a fun evening! This place is really cozy and offers an incredible view while soaking in the awesome hot tub! Great spot for a post-birthday sleepover! My daughter and her friends had a blast and so did my best friend and I. Lovely girls night.
