There are plenty activities in Bend year round. In the winter enjoy all the snow sports including skiing, cross country skiing, snowmobiling and hiking. Scenic downtown Bend is only three miles northeast with its cafes, bookstores, galleries, and the charming duck-and-greenery-filled Drake Park. Year-round, Wall and Bond streets are vibrant with shopping and people watching. After working up an appetite, stop in for a Mediterranean-inspired feast at Joolz or Zydeco Kitchen for shrimp etouffee and drinks. The whole family will enjoy a trip to the High Desert Museum to view outdoor animal exhibits, artwork, and insights into the area's history.
