Great place to stay if you are looking to be steps away from the beach! Rocking chairs on the screened in porch are just perfect to hear and see ( partial view) of the ocean!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our three days here at St. Simons
in this wonderful historic cottage. Perfect location to the beach,
extremely quiet. secluded, and convenient to beach and pier and restaurants.
Perfect cottage on the perfect location! Had everything we needed and communication with owner was great! Definitely will look to stay there again when visiting SSI
We had a relaxing weekend and absolutely loved the cottage. We felt right at home and will be back.

I love sunrises, and only having to walk about 100 feet to enjoy was awesome. Great seafood, breakfasts wondeeful, and enjoying all the island has to offer. Also good icecream. Our second time there, and im sure we will be back.
Great little getaway spot, nestle among the oaks trees and palms.
Beautiful mornings and evenings on the screened in porch.
Awesome sunrises and sunsets.
What a great place to stay. Very close to everything. Especially the beach which was an upgrade from where we stayed last years. If we come back to St Simons hopefully we can get the place again.
This spot was so close to the beach and we could also walk to the pier relatively easy. Ruthie was great to text with if I had any questions. It’s a small little place but if there’s not many of us, I will definitely stay here again.
We stayed on the other side of this condo last year and wanted to try this one out this time. It is so much more spacious than the pictures! Easy short walk to the beach. We love St.Simmons and this house is one of the reasons!

It was VERY CLEAN. A shout out for Ruthie and her fantastic helper Shelly. My wife and I have been on many ocean vacations, but this cottage is at the top of them all. If you like clean, and accessibility to dining and shops and sweets,,this is all you need.
This cottage was fantastic and charming. Yes, charming means older, but it had everything needed and listed. Everything was clean, convenient, and we were in need of nothing. The communication was the best I have experienced with vrbo with questions, directions, ect answered before I needed to ask. The cottage is incredibly close to the beach. We will most definitely be staying there again.
Easy and complete information about place and entrance. Clean. Everything I needed and more was there. Very easy walk to the beach. My favorite spot was the screened in porch sitting in the rocking chair with coffee watching the sunrise. Quiet neighborhood. Restaurants really close. Loved my stay. I can only give 5 stars but I would give many more. Hope I can come again loved it
We stayed here for Christmas week. The house is in a quiet residential neighborhood, with the beach about 100 feet away. The house was clean, comfortable and unfussy with a well outfitted kitchen. It reminded us a bit of places we stayed as children; there’s something comforting about it. We also liked the location—quiet but in easy walking (or driving) distance to restaurants and stores. Don’t miss Moo Cow Ice Cream. Great bird watching not far away if you’re into it too!
You can walk to the beach in seconds and it's a half mile to the shopping/ eating part of the area. A condo is being constructed alongside the property as of August 2021, but they don't get working till 9 AM. Just be aware. It's a duplex, but we couldn't hear and never saw the other tenants. They park on the other side of the cottage. Lovely to sit on the porch, seemed private.
Comfortable home just 1 minute walk to the beach. Our only problem was the smoke/carbon monoxide detector that beeped all night our last night, so no sleep our last night. the owner says that happens now and then...
We really enjoyed our time here. Location is great, beach is just catty-corner to the house, a very short walk. Pier, restaurant and shops are all a very short drive as well. Close enough drive to Jekyll Island to visit there too. House was clean, and worked well for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teen boys). Owner was very nice and had good communication with us. We drove in from Missouri, and arrived early. Thought we'd have to kill several hours before we could check in, but owner was nice enough to let us check in early. St. Simons Island is lovely, and we greatly enjoyed crabbing off the pier, hanging out on the beach, going on a sunset dolphin cruise, visiting the Georgia Sea Turtle Center, and trying out some local restaurants. It was a much needed family vacation. Would love to come back someday, and would definitely stay at this house again. Thanks!
The location was perfect. Once we settled in, we rented bikes and didn't need out car again until we drove to Jekyll Island for the afternoon. Walking distance to more restaurants than we needed and to the lighthouse and pier. We loved having our own space that the cottage provided- come and go without waiting on elevators, etc. The cottage was clean and had some nice touches- LOVED the king bed in the main bedroom. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the cookware and dishes needed to cook a Thanksgiving feast. The owner was extremely quick with responses. The only negatives would be a slight musty smell pretty standard in an older beach house and a few unsightly repairs. With a little attention to detail, the cottage could be impeccable.
