This quaint cottage on Oglethorpe Avenue is located across the street from the beach. It is within walking distance of the village. You can walk to the village to enjoy shopping, eating and entertainment. Kitchen is equipped with all the necessities for your needs. Cottage has a side porch with a washer and a dryer that is shared with the other unit. Bike rentals are within walking distance of the house. Screened in front porch. Please understand that this is an old cottage. It is not a condominium. It does not have all the luxuries that condominiums provide. Shared washer and dryer with the attached duplex.

The place was in the absolute perfect location in a little less crowded beach area but within a nice stroll to The Village one way and some other great restaurants the other direction. It’s located just right across the street from beach access to easily go to and from! We will definitely be back to stay again. Thanks so much for a great weekend away and sharing your home with us!

Absolutely loved it

This cottage was fantastic and charming. Yes, charming means older, but it had everything needed and listed. Everything was clean, convenient, and we were in need of nothing. The communication was the best I have experienced with vrbo with questions, directions, ect answered before I needed to ask. The cottage is incredibly close to the beach. We will most definitely be staying there again.

St Simons Island

This cozy cottage is nestled in the most idyllic location, directly across the street from the Atlantic Ocean made for a lovely long weekend. The cottage has spacious bedrooms, living room, and a well appointed kitchen. The house faces the ocean with two perfect rockers for listening to the ocean while having your morning coffee, or enjoying an afternoon beverage. The cottage is located within walking distance to the pier, the lighthouse, and many adorable shops and restaurants. Could not imagine a better place to stay, and we have been to the island several times.

Easy and complete information about place and entrance. Clean. Everything I needed and more was there. Very easy walk to the beach. My favorite spot was the screened in porch sitting in the rocking chair with coffee watching the sunrise. Quiet neighborhood. Restaurants really close. Loved my stay. Great Location for Much Needed Family Vacation

We really enjoyed our time here. Location is great, beach is just catty-corner to the house, a very short walk. Pier, restaurant and shops are all a very short drive as well. Close enough drive to Jekyll Island to visit there too. House was clean, and worked well for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teen boys). Owner was very nice and had good communication with us. We drove in from Missouri, and arrived early. Thought we'd have to kill several hours before we could check in, but owner was nice enough to let us check in early. St. Simons Island is lovely, and we greatly enjoyed crabbing off the pier, hanging out on the beach, going on a sunset dolphin cruise, visiting the Georgia Sea Turtle Center, and trying out some local restaurants. It was a much needed family vacation. Would love to come back someday, and would definitely stay at this house again. Thanks!
