Lakefront Home - Includes Kayaks, Paddle Boards, and tons of water toys!

Cozy and clean lakefront home with stunning views of beautiful Lake Arrowhead! Large master bedroom upstairs with its own private bathroom and king bed. Second bedroom upstairs with two full beds, great for kids or a couple. Both upstairs bedrooms include portable air conditioners. Third bedroom on main floor with queen size bed. Also a bonus room/loft area upstairs with two futon beds (all sheets/bedding provided for futons). House has wifi with smart TV's so you can stream your favorite shows and movies.

Home has full bathroom on main floor. Large open kitchen and dining room, with bar area with seating for 4, and large dining room table that seats 8. Portable air conditioner in the dining/kitchen area. Kitchen is completely stocked with all plates, utensils, pots and pans and just about anything you will need for whatever you want to cook. Full size washer and dryer.

Outdoor fire pit area overlooking the lake, and a large 4 burner gas grill on the deck for your use. Extra parking across the street for guests for snowmobile/ATV trailers, and the trails are just down the street. Between Memorial and Labor day there is a heated community pool at the association grounds open to all guests. The association park also has a playground and pickleball court that is free to use. There is a dock for your speed boat or jet skis and a boat launch at the association as well (Lake Arrowhead is all sports). Also provided for renters is three kayaks, a peddle boat, a swim platform, two stand up paddle boards, swim mat, and life jackets in a few various sizes.

Location is great for visiting all that northern MI has to offer! Traverse City, Mackinaw Island, and Petoskey are all about an hour away in either direction, and Boyne Falls area (Boyne Highlands ski/golf/indoor waterpark), is only about 30min away.

All bath linens are provided, but beach towels are not, so please bring your own beach towels. There is a Keurig combination K-cup/pot coffee maker, but coffee is not provided, so please bring your own.

Perfect little place on the lake

Super cute cabin/home- Perfect amount of space and loved all the fall decor- Had everything we needed for our stay- Already talking about renting again! Didn't have time to do any water activities as we attended a wedding that weekend but its perfect for what we needed!

New Years 2020

This property has an amazing view overlooking Buhl lake. Mark was excellent at communicating before we arrived as well as throughout our stay and after. Great spot for any time of the year if you enjoy northern Michigan.

Very beautiful place. One where you can relax and enjoy yourself. The place is exactly as advertised. Mark is a very great communicator and host. Right on the lake!!! Great fishing, and beautiful landscaping. You will be blessed by staying here!!!!

Very nice time

Property accommodated 6 adults with no issues. Local air conditioner units keep all rooms cool even in the mid-80's. The dock with water toys and swim platform is a huge selling point. Mark was a good host and very responsive. Hope to make a return trip next year.

New Years Trip

We stayed at the cottage over the New Year weekend with the main purpose to ski and celebrate New Years. Due to luck of snow we didn't ski as much as we planned and spent more time at the cottage. The cottage was really clean, cozy, comfortable beds and we enjoyed holiday decor throughout the house. When the listing said to only bring coffee, it meant it. It truly had everything we needed and more. Spending time with my family and friends, playing games and cards (plenty at the cottage) while enjoying beautiful view of the lake, creating unforgettable memories. The host is amazing. Great at communicating even wishing us Happy New Years. We had zero issues. Highly recommend. Perfect for one large family or two smaller families.

Great cabin on the lake for families

Clean and cute cabin. My family and I had a great time kayaking, paddle boarding and jumping off the floating dock (all included in the rental). Property owner was easy to reach if needed. Would definitely visit again!

Lots of fun at this cabin

I, my 2 children and 5 grandchildren (ages 1 - 15) enjoyed our stay at this property. My 11 year old grandsons loved fishing from the dock and caught many fish right there. There were lots of water activities available right at the cabin. Weather was a little chilly for our stay, but we used kayaks and paddleboards that are provided and on last evening did take a swim and lots of jumps off the swimming platform. Cottage is located about an hour or so from Lake Michigan and Lake Huron. We took day trips to both of those. And, Mark is a great host. We accidentally left behind on the dock a newly purchased sweatshirt which Mark kindly made sure was returned to us. Thanks Mark.

A great place

We traveled to celebrate the new year in Northern Michigan. Enjoyed the place. Had everything you needed for a great stay. Cozy family room made us feel right at home. The decor was adorable. View of the lake was beautiful. I’m sure it’s a great place in the summer as well. Plenty of space for our larger group. No issues at all. Would rent again. Mark was a great host, communicated throughout.

Cottage at Arrowhead Lake

Very peaceful setting; so quiet you can hear the acorns falling. We loved the fire pit in the evenings. This was our “home” for exploring Northern Michigan and Mackinac Island, so we weren’t here much. We truly enjoyed our stay, but there were three things we weren’t thrilled with: the downstairs bed is too large for the room and hard to get in/out of; the master bdrm shower is almost big enough to turn around in; and the Roku TV system should have had detailed instructions for use.

So cozy

Such a relaxing and carefree experience at Mark's place - no surprises, everything as pictured, and he was great with updates and advice to aid in our pre-planning. The neighborhood is lovely and so relaxing to be right on the lake. Too cold for us to take advantage of many outdoor amenities, but the seclusion and relaxation to be gained from just sitting at the deck, dock, and firepit was just what we needed. Home is very roomy, cozy, and provided plenty of amenities. Would absolutely stay again!

Awesome property with incredible views

We had a great experience at this awesome cabin! The owner was great with communication and the house was very clean and fully stocked upon arrival. This house had everything we could have needed and the lake is absolutely gorgeous. We highly recommend this cabin and would stay again in a heartbeat.

Family weekend

We decided to rent a house in the neighborhood for the weekend, a family member was moving out of their house in the same neighborhood. So it was nice for everyone to regroup and relax with out havejng all the clutter and stress and moving all around us. We love the neighborhood and loved the the view of the lake from the fire pit! Beautiful location!
