Middleton is a small tourist town, great for weekend stays, its beaches are pristine and fantastic for surfing.



The cottage is recently renovated featuring an open plan living, dining and kitchen area with access to the large deck with outdoor furniture and barbeque.



Five good size bedrooms, 3 queens and 4 singles, perfect for a 2-3 family getaway! Features a bathroom with separate w.c. and vanity and second bathroom with shower, w.c. and vanity.



Outside is a decking area with rural views where you will love to relax and socialize under the pergola in all weather. Enclosed rear yard with a lawn featuring an outdoor shower to use when coming straight from the beach.



If cycling is your passion or even for fun, be sure to bring your bike. This home is located at the ends of both cycle tracks, one way goes to Goolwa and the other to Victor Harbor which is roughly an hour's ride. Its hard not to love the scenery of the south coast .



But even if you wish to walk the beach, Goolwa is only a 40 min walk along the beach, great if you like to get up early and go for breakfast.

Apart from the terrible lack of communication and miss communication where one ad had information missed out. And we have a few issues getting the right information. The property itself was actually very beautiful.. spacious and roomy for the 8 people we had staying. We loved how close the beach was and the yard space was great. Very nice atmosphere and a great weekend away all up minus the initial drama.

Happy with rooms and facilities. Only one aircon though so bedrooms may get hot in summer. Not sure. Really comfortable for our group of seven and we enjoyed the house and outdoor area. Disappointed no wifi though. This is a basic necessity these days. Would stay again for sure if had wifi.

Property was comfortable and cosy. Location was great.The only issues we had was that we couldn't use the bbq as the plate was extremely old and peeling. The stove also did not have a rangehood or fan which made it very smoky when cooking a roast. Some of the fryoans need to be replaced also.Apart from that feedback, extremely happy amd would recommend to others.

Lovely place to stay at Middleton

We were a little skeptical, as previous reviews of this property indicated that it wasn’t clean. Fortunately this was not the case for us. The property was extremely clean, neat and tidy on our arrival. Everything was there that we needed. Some extra heating for the back bedroom would have been nice as it was very cold at that end of the house, but other than that it was perfect!

Spacious, well-equipped home

Our party comprised a couple, a baby, 3 other adults and a dog. We were all well-accommodated and the house was spacious, well-located, well-equipped, and on the whole very comfortable. I liked that it was all on one floor, and the covered and sheltered deck out the back was a lovely place to relax. We were only there for two nights but I would happily have spent a week there, and would book it again if I ever have the need. FYI: There were some basic foodstuffs in one of the kitchen cupboards (salt & pepper, oil, soy sauce, some herbs, etc.) which I always find handy to know before going, hence noting it here.

Winter at the Beach Cottage Middleton

It has been ok. Plenty of rooms pleasant environment, generally good comms with the property management at Elders. However, on arrival the rubbish bins were upside down and rubbish spread on the loan. Certainly didn't expect that at the end of June we will find freezing cold rooms with no heating options in the bedrooms and very thin quilt covers. This was probably exacerbated as Saturday afternoon the hot water stopped working and nobody replied to our message until Sunday 1:30pm. No apologies or offer to make up for all the inconvenience. :-(

Family holiday

Great property, only a few minutes walk to the beach. The house is on one level, which was terrific for our two toddlers and two dogs. We appreciated the air-conditioner, as we were staying on a weekend when the temperatures exceeded 37 degrees every day. However, be aware that there is only one air-conditioner and the two bedrooms that were furthest away rarely cooled down below 30 degrees. To reach the backyard we needed to walk down a few steps, which everyone was able to negotiate easily. The dogs, in particular, loved being able to run around on the grass. We loved the outside shower for a quick rinse off after returning from the beach. We enjoyed sitting outside on the deck and enjoying a drink in the evening and breakfast in the morning. Be aware that there is no wi-fi, so TV was a bit limited for the kids. We would like to come and stay again in the future.
