Very nice condo with great ammenities, but the location is remote.
We had a great time while staying in Little Harbor. The condo was very nice, well appointed with a great nature view of the back marina canal. We saw dolphins swim by our balcony on a couple of occasions and lots of pelicans floating by the back balconies. The owner was super nice and made sure we were happy. He put a lot of time and effort to make us feel at home. He made sure our kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for our extended stay. There were plenty of linens to accommodate not only us, but also our overnight guests. He also provided us with a Tenant Guide which explained how to: get there, use the security system, connect to Wi-Fi, operate the utilities and washer/dryer. The guide also contained contact information if repairs were needed or emergencies arose.
If your intent is to settle into a place with a beach, several pools, fitness rooms, marinas, a restaurant and a pub; then Little Harbor is a great place. The sunsets are beautiful, the facilities are top notch and the resort staff is extremely nice. If you want to get out and explore your surroundings, then you may find Ruskin to be a bit remote. There are a some very good restaurants within a few miles, but nothing much more. For a night on the town, you may want to drive 45 minutes up to Tampa. If you want a tropical experience on beautiful beaches, you will have to drive 45 minutes to either Anna Maria Island or St. Pete Beach.
We had a great experience while we were there. We have family nearby and had family come from out-of-state to visit. The condo and Little Harbor fit our needs perfectly. We will book this condo again when we decide to come visit this area. We are extremely grateful for the hospitality granted to us by the owner! Thanks, Jim!
