Kitchen was very well supplied for all our cooking needs. Home is very nicely decorated. Believe the pictures. Awesome view of the lake through the trees from both levels. Very nice area. A few more entry steps down than expected but not a problem. Parking in the two stall attached garage was a plus especially when packing the car to leave on a rainy morning. This was the perfect place for us for our one week stay.

Clean and quiet
This was our 2nd rental here, a week each time. We loved it! Very peaceful and quiet, super clean, and the kitchen has everything we needed for meal preparation. Lots of great restaurants in Lowell, and a terrific bike trail in the area. We went out on the lake many times, and really enjoyed that too. And Grand Rapids is not very far, for even more things to do and see. Madelyn is an awesome host, couldn’t ask for any better. Highly recommend this property.
Cottage owner was great! Met us there the first day; showed us around. Very spacious cottage; very clean. Does have lots of stairs and not much beach area; full of seaweed so not great for swimming right off the dock. Please note that the large windows are gorgeous and give a great view, but there are no window coverings so daylight comes in early each day. Cottage had a well stocked kitchen for all sorts of cooking/grilling. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay; would recommend!
Peaceful, clean, nicely decorated, and loaded with extras like games, puzzles, and all types of gear for fun on the lake. The kitchen had everything we needed for making meals there. Garage parking was nice, because it also gave us a safe dry place to keep our bicycles we brought with us. The nearby town of Lowell had quite a few choices for restaurants and the people we met in the area were very nice. For us, it was everything we could have asked for in a week long getaway!
Our family of 7 very much enjoyed our 8-day winter stay. It is the 2nd time we have rented the house, and it suits us very well. The owner is great and is easy to contact.
The 3-bedroom house overlooks a good-size lake, and it has loads of lake-side windows. The house is large with 2 spacious levels. This permits families to the opportunity for separate activities. While it's located in the country, it's not far from shopping and restaurants.
We loved this very spacious home!! It was the perfect, relaxing setting. Our adult children enjoyed the area and made several visits to the Red Barn just down the road! They also enjoyed fishing from the dock and riding in the paddleboat! Thank you so much! We are looking forward to our next visit!
The host was very nice and I was impressed to receive a call by the host prior to the visit. Because we were getting in so late on the first night, the host provided us breakfast in the fridge. That was a life saver. And the host stopped by to ensure we had everything we needed. I was very impressed - very nice place to stay and wonderful area and neighborhood.
Really nice house and comfortable furniture.
Lower level view comparable to first story', and good separation for early morning children-noise.
Great view of lake and Swans.
If we hadn't been away, we would have seen a stunning sunset.
Madelyn took good care of us. She provided coffee, snacks, condiments, something for our first breakfast, etc.
She was very thoughtful, and provided info about the area.
Plenty hot water, no waiting for showers.
We would suggest more shades or window covering toward the road and closest neighbor.
Text message delay caused minor problem with entry
My husband, dad, and I decided to stay here to attend a wedding instead of staying in a hotel in Grand Rapids. We are so happy that we did! The windows in the house provide stunning views, and it's a great area for walks. We loved the petting zoo down the street, too. Additionally, we enjoyed sitting on the deck, kayaking, reading, and relaxing. Madelyn, the owner, is amazing. We arrived late at night and not only did she have snacks for us, she even had breakfast items for us to have the next morning! Our return flight left in the mid-afternoon and Madelyn also let us stay in the house as late as we wanted. We highly recommend this property!
Each year my girlfriends and I take a week's vacation. This property was perfect. Beautiful home. Beautiful Lake. Great little town! Hosts were wonderful!
Great house! Highly recommend this rental. Perfect space for our family and great place to dock & use our boat.
Our host was so kind!

Beautiful house and views. Needs a little TLC to be more family friendly.
This house is really beautiful and the host was very kind. We were greeted with snacks and chilled wine! The house has nicely stocked, had great space, views, and upper deck. Although this is a relatively new property it could use a little TLC. There were lots of ants and spiders outside and inside of the house. I killed at least a dozen spiders in the week we were there inside the house. There is also no easy way to get from the dock/lower deck into the lake itself. A ladder or stairs would do wonders to make it possible for the adults and kids to be able to enjoy the lake more easily.
We came here to visit with family and get ready for our sons wedding. It was a great place. We relaxed and played frisbee and fished off the dock, grilled and overall truly enjoyed this home. Thanks Madelyn, you're a great host. We appreciate it!!
Everything about this property was wonderful. Our host was welcoming and helpful. The home was perfect for our family of 6 including an infant. The views are gorgeous, the rooms comfortable, and the kitchen well-equipped. Highly recommended.

Perfect Fall Get Away
We’ve stayed in many vacation homes and this one would rate at the top for sure. Great location, fantastic host, with great amenities. The weather was perfect and the surrounding areas offered great parks and walking trails, with a gorgeous lake in the backyard to canoe on. Plus...number excellent restaurants nearby.
The only thing we would suggest to add to this beautiful cottage is a fireplace to the make the ambience of this cottage even greater.
This property was amazing. It was clean, spacious, and in an incredibly peaceful location.
Molly was an amazing host and met us on-site for a full tour of her gorgeous home.
We were all very happy staying here!
