Lakefront Family Friendly Home with Large Sandy Beach and Beautiful Views


The lake front home is on Silver Lake, which is one of the premier lakes in West Michigan, only 15 miles from downtown Grand Rapids and 5 miles from downtown Rockford. The home has about 2000 sq. feet with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, plus a large 4 season porch surrounded by windows. The home is in a quiet and safe neighborhood on a large flat lot with 80 feet of sandy beach with a Solo fire pit for gathering with your family and friends. The property also includes a 300-foot-deep back lot with a large driveway with a pickle ball net and a garage.

Silver Lake is an all sports lake with about 225 acres that is in the top 5% of lakes in Michigan in water clarity. The home is in a protected area from westerly winds and faces southeast so you will enjoy waking up to beautiful sunrises and sunsets that can be seen from the water.

A large dock is included with a platform on the end. A 4-person paddle boat, 2 kayaks, and 2 stand up paddle boards are provided for your enjoyment. The property also has pickle ball, corn toss, croquet, horseshoes, volleyball, bikes, water/sand toys, life jackets, etc. are provided.

A newer 20-foot pontoon boat with a 60 hp engine is available for rent during your stay. Please inquire about pricing.

Almost anything you would need for your stay is included, except for food and beverages.

There are numerous recreational activities in the area with many parks and bike trails close by. 8 new outdoor pickle ball courts have been installed at the Cannon Township property 1 mile away. A variety of wonderful shops and restaurants are located within 5 miles of the cottage. In the winter Cannonsburg Ski Resort is 2 miles to the south of the home.

Nice house lakeside to celebrate graduation from Calvin University. We enjoyed paddle boarding, kayaking and the peddle boat. Enough equipment for all of us to be out on the lake at the same time. Brian was easy to talk with and had everything labeled nicely. Would stay again.

Lovely lakeside property!

House was awesome and was very easy to accommodate 9 people! Anything you could need at your home away from home for the week was there. The lake/beach was awesome and having access to the numerous water toys was a great time! Definitely will be visiting again in the future forsure.

Life long resident of the Grand Rapids area. This is the 3rd home that I have had the pleasure of owning on Silver Lake. Proud father of 2 adult children. Career change has prompted living in the Pacific Northwest part of the time. This has allowed the opportunity to offer my home for your family and friends enjoyment. My mother and 2 brothers also have homes on the lake. I also have another vacation rental on Silver Lake, Washington, and a 41 foot trawler boat for recreational charters on the Columbia river.

Why they chose this property

Beautiful part of Michigan where it has the feel of being in Northern Michigan, but close to amenities and only 15 miles from downtown Grand Rapids. A short 5 miles from quant, historic, and charming Rockford. The home is on a quiet and safe street close to a turnaround with plenty of room outside for many activities. The home shows pride of ownership and offers a variety of amenities for guests of all ages. One of very few properties that has a pontoon boat available for rent.

What makes this property unique

Lots of space outside to spread out. My brother lives next door is very helpful if you need anything if I'm not around. The best customer service is an absolute must.
