When I'm out of town, I'm happy to let you stay in my two bedroom flat in Central London, King's Cross St Pancras (10 minutes walk). Walking distance to the British Museum, countless pubs, restaurants, supermarkets. You will have a ready entire flat (two double bedrooms, separate living room with a double bed, separate kitchen with cooking utilities/cutleries etc). I will provide towels, linen & cleaning products. You will find a clean, tidy & ready flat. Please treat it with respect.
I rent out my flat when I'm not here.
Two double bedrooms (one bigger than the other), a living room (with a double bed dressed as a sofa), a kitchen and a bathroom.
It's got windows overlooking the back yard of the building and the playground of the buildings in front of ours.
Fully kitted with linen, duvets & towels.
Feel free to read my books, listen to my CDs and watch my DVDs!
The flat is compact and there is a fully equipped bathroom with bath and a fully fitted kitchen.
The flat is on the 5th floor of a building block admired by many. Architecture tours visit outside just to marvel at it. If you appreciate architecture, you might find it interesting. There is a lift. In fact, two of them.
The flat is equidistant to Angel & King's Cross tube stations and 20' walk to Caledonian Road & Barnsbury Overground stations taking you to Stratford in 10 minutes. There are several buses running from around the corner to down town.
Being close to King's Cross, it's walking distance to the British Library, the Wellcome Collection and the British Museum. If you reach that then you're already in the West End.
There is of course high speed fibre optic broadband WiFi internet with unlimited downloads! Unfortunately, parking outside our block is for residents only during the week. I don't hold a license.
If you like what you read then please contact me! Let's chat!
You will have the entire flat during your stay as I'll be out of London.
We will arrange the check in. Depending how we manage it might be me or a friend that checks you in and shows you around. After that I'm contactable on the platform or other messaging apps.
King's Cross is just a short walk from Euston Station.
The flat is located in a really central area. Approximately 10 minutes walk to King's Cross station where there are National Rail trains, Buses, Underground and Eurostar. Also easy access to Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, City and Luton airports! King's Cross is a great place to explore!
Approximately 10 minutes walking is Granary Square on the banks of Regent’s Canal. This square has over 1,000 coloured fountains, look spectacular at night when lit. There is a shopping mall with an arthouse cinema at the back. Also there is my favourite big supermarket called Waitrose (and Sainsbury’s or Tesco's). It is really convenient to get some food there if you would like to save money to cook in at home.
There are also a lot of shops inside St Pancras International station.
You can have a meal at one of the many restaurants (Indian, Chinese, Turkish etc).
There are wide, south-facing steps going down to the canal from Granary Square. It is carpeted in green and makes it an ideal spot to relax and watch the boats slip by, stage performances, Halloween shows, Flower show, Yoga classes etc. A very good spot to spend the day with family.
King's Cross has a rich heritage of nurturing arts and culture. The British Library is just next to St Pancras International Station, displaying some of the world's most famous written and printed items, such as the Magna Carta & Shakespeare's First Folio.
The Camley Street Natural Park is a great way to escape the hustle and bustle of King's Cross: spot wildlife and relax by the pond.
King's Cross Underground station has 6 Tube/Metro Lines (Metropolitan, Northern, Victoria, Hammersmith and City Lines Piccadilly, Central Line) with two national mainline rail stations and international high speed rail; connecting trains to Heathrow/Stansted/Gatwick/City and Luton Airports & EUROSTAR
Euston Station just 5 minutes walk away from King’s Cross.
24 hours tube service on Fridays and Saturdays. There are two lines, Piccadilly and Victoria stop at King's Cross after midnight.
Buses are another popular option for tourists as you can sightsee while traveling. Nearby Bus stop is 2 minutes’ walk which is ‘’Penton Rise’’. Also more Buses in Euston Road & Pentonville Road.
