Nice quaint place. Liked: vanity separate from the toilet*beach towels*chairs *snorkel gear*quiet during our stay*Air conditioner unit sufficient*Owner has quick response. Chose for location away from noise and hecticness of downtown Waikiki. Easy access to highway and quick walk to beach!! Saved money on Free parking option on street, or easier access to cheaper parking at the zoo. Some downtown waikiki places charge 90 a day to park in garage. Waikiki grand 1/3 of that for parking.
Great location, right across from the zoo and one block to the beach. Friendly people, laundry in the basement, dancing in the bar on 2nd floor. Best stay ever.
Small but very nice. Complete kitchen. Half block from beach. No ocean view.

Location can not be beat. Everything was pretty much as expected. My husband and I stayed 1 month and even though it is small we are not in the room that much.
This location is nice if you want to be near the beach and away from the highrise hotels. Just means we walked a lot to restaurants and shopping.
The view from the patio is excellent, especially at sunset. The nightclub in the building is the reason for the 4 star rating for neighborhood.
Location, Location, Location says it all. We loved the location. Beaches, Zoo, Aquarium, Downtown, Diamondhead easy to drive to and from while missing a lot of traffic. We have been to The Waikiki area several times and this is the best spot so far for the price. Great views of the sunrise over diamondhead and sunsets over the ocean from the 10th floor. Thanks to all who made our trip amazing. We will do this again for sure.
Easy check in. The room looks like the photos. Great location across the street from the Honolulu Zoo. Easy to walk a few blocks over to Kuhio Ave to take the 2, 8, or 13 buses down the street towards the busy restaurants and shopping area. Get a daily bus card at one of the three ABC stores nearby. Waikīkī Beach is a block away for checking out the sunset. The 10th floor view of Diamond Head and the beach is fantastic. The bed and many pillows was very comfortable. Nice to have beach towels. The kitchen has lots of utensils and stuff for cooking. I appreciated the full size refrigerator and the freezer.
I would stat here again! Very clean, and all appliances worked well. Plenty of decent towels and bathroom amenities. No view but, who needs one when you are so close to the beach and everything; and you can get excellentt photos from the 10th fl deck. Bus stops are very closeby. A bargain for the cost of my stay. Mahalo!! A hui hou!
Great location, just a block from Waikiki Beach. Small, but we’ll designed and very clean. Enough room for luggage. Kitchenette had all basics and room enough to cook simple meals.
We appreciated the cooler and ice packs. Definitely pay the extra for a parking space. Street parking would have been a challenge.

The rooftop and view of Diamond Head was the best feature.
We had a decent stay. The windows were so dirty, we had to keep curtains closed. I dropped something that rolled under the bed...very dirty as was under every surface on the floor.
The bathroom was clean, always important.
The location is right off the main drag, so a quick walk to the beach.
If the room were cleaner, I would give it a higher rating.

Waikiki Stay
The property manager was great. Communication was great with him. The room was pretty small for what we wanted but that is on us for not reading all of the details. No deck so that was a disappointment. The location was great. Just an older place so we got what we paid for. It wasn’t a bad experience but we probably won’t stay there again.
Location, location, location! Came back 40 years later! 1st time was our honeymoon. The view on 10th floor is spectacular! We utilized the kitchen usually twice a day for our meals. The Waikiki market we used for groceries was only a 6 to 10 minute walk. Zoo was nice and across the street. The beach was great with the breaker reduced the waves which worked out great for us. I would recommend this to all. Thanks Mark for being a great host!
The location of the beach and shopping is top-notch. I am so glad we chose this place to stay. The bed is so comfortable, most mattresses are uncomfortable, but not this one. We slept so well. The Waikiki Beach is steps out the front door. There is food and shopping everywhere. The park over the street is amazing. Free parking is everywhere. The hotel is perfectly located. The 10th-floor deck is just perfect for a view of the ocean and a view of Diamond Head. The room was quiet and at the end of the hallway away from the elevator. The hotel employees were so helpful. The pool was like a private pool. Most of the time we were the only people using it. The volume for the TV is on the side of the remote, I didn't have experience with a Roku, but I do now. Everything was perfect, I recommend it.

Fairly updated studio in older building... seconds away from beach.
No major complaints, it was clean, the on-site people were responsive, pretty much exactly what you expect from a studio... Just a couple things to pass on... Bed is quite firm, almost like laying on the carpet kind of firm, if that's what you prefer it could be a good thing... also, no dresser to unload clothes into, we just left them in the suitcase... lastly shower head is set at about 5 feet so if you're tall it shoots square at your chest, you'll have to duck or get on your knees to wash your hair... didn't use the kitchen stuff so no info for you there other than it seems to be as advertised.

Overall a nice place with great access to the beach. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room would be nicer if it had at least a fold up table and chairs. The wicker loveseat size couch wasn’t very comfortable but was in good shape. Overall I would recommend it to my friends
The stay at this hotel was for 10 days. Very close to the beach and shopping. The premises were clean and hotel staff were wonderful. The Vrob was clean and accommodations good. Was a bit noisy because of construction next door, but other than that we were very happy with our stay there.
Room was off the street towards the back of property, and away from the bar ( open til 2am). This provided quite after 9pm. On the street side not so much—per a couple riding in the elevator. Was a good experience.

Good not great
Pros: close to a lot of restaurants, shopping, and the beach. Temperature stayed pretty cool! The hotel staff were nice. Cons: the pictures are a false representation as the room is old and somewhat dirty. The fitted bed sheet had brown marks and no extras were provided. There is visible paint peeling and exposed wood all over. Dust has collected in the shower vent, which makes me question how long it’s been uncleaned and made showering uncomfortable. The kitchen sink kept backing up and spewing black particles. Likewise, the shower pipes kept backing up causing waster to pool at our feet. The AC unit is very noisy but effective so not really a con. You get what you pay for, but I wouldn’t recommend it.
