Perfect

This property was absolutely perfect for us. There was plenty of room and we especially liked the garage. There were a couple of things we needed that weren't in the house when we checked in - garbage bags and kitchen mitts - and the property manager brought them over right away. The bed was comfortable, the blackout shades were nice and the neighborhood was super quiet. I don't want to say to many nice things, because someone else might have already rented it the next time we're in Bend - but this house was exactly what we wanted.

Custom home

It would be helpful to have the outside lights on to make accessing the lockbox easier upon first arrival. We also found a spare key under the door mat. We found scattering of leaves inside the side sliding door, which was unlocked. There were dirty dishes in the cupboard. The remote garage door opener didn’t work. Otherwise all was good.

Feels like home

Very comfortable rental on a quiet street in an upscale walkable safe neighborhood. Close to local amenities. One of the nicest rentals in Bend.

Nice property

We didn't receive our check in info ahead of check in, but all was quickly resolved via telephone. Property was as described, check out procedures were standard, check out was at 10 am. It was a nice, quiet place to be based out of for the weekend.

Great setting

We enjoyed the overall setting and ambiance. Tastefully decorated and furnished. Would have liked 4 soup bowls and some smaller baking dishes.... the cleaning however was not well done. Kitchen floor sticky, dishes in cabinet not clean, and carpets and upholstery not vacuumed well.

Christmas Time Visit

Really enjoyed Bend this time of year! Always much to do around here all year around! The house was really nice, very well set up, great kitchen. Did have some issues with the toilets in the unit, one leaking and both not really flushing all that well. Other than that, a great stay!

It is Peaceful in the Parks!

Peaceful in the Parks was just that! A lovely and quiet neighborhood but close to everything in Bend. The house is spacious, the kitchen well appointed with everything we needed. Mattresses were very comfy. Meredith is wonderful to work with…we found ourselves locked out the first morning and with one phone call help was on the way. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Heavenly stay

Probably the nicest VRBO of our rental history. Everything was as described, vey clean and well maintained. Great to have a garage. Very close to our son's home. Special thanks to Brian. We somehow got our dates confused, thinking we would be checking out 6/2. We realized on the afternoon of 6/1 that we should have left that morning. I called in a semi-panic and Brian was most helpful in allowing us to remain the extra day. Would definitely use Meredith Lodging again on our next trip to visit family.

Great spot. Particularly in winter with direct access to home from garage. Would like larger TV in main sitting room. And also TV in the master bedroom. In-home Operation instructions for TV and Fireplace could be improved.

Ski week in Bend

Great Property for small family. Need to be clearer about Jacuzzi not being available in the winter. Also, could use a few more serving bowls and some food storage containers. Cozy atmosphere and convenient location to Bend and Mt. Bachelor. Overall a great place and we'll continue to stay here!

Nice home

Very comfortable. Beautiful inside. The only issues were that the fireplace would not turn on and there is no pool access as it says. But other than that is was great.

Wonderful Neighborhood

Nice house in a great neighborhood. Needs a little self-care. The house needs better lighting in the primary bedroom as the room is very dark and the nightstand lamps are not adequate. The carpet in the primary bathroom should be replaced with tile or similar product, it is unsanitary to have carpet in a bathroom. There is some mold in the primary shower and the shower controls have separated away from the shower wall. The hall bathroom is nice, but has a baseboard coming away from the wall, and needs repairing. The house could do with a fresh painting and decent throw rugs. The rugs currently being used are pieces of carpet left over from a roll of left over carpet used the bedrooms in the house. I would stay there again because of the location, closeness to town, and recreation areas. I am hopeful that the next time I stay there, the updates will have been made.
