This Rent In Highlands vacation rental home is pet friendly for one small dog, under 20 pounds. Pets must be pre-approved. An additional non-refundable pet fee is required and is not included in the rental fee. Please call our office for approval and to pay the pet  fee. Failure to adhere to this policy will result in a $1000.00 fine.

Only adults (25 years old and older) may reserve this property and an adult must occupy the property at all times.

Nestled in a lush rhododendron forest with towering hemlocks, Wonderfall Cottage offers a peaceful retreat while being just a 5-minute drive from downtown Highlands. Enjoy stunning views of Satulah Mountain from the front porch, and listen to the soothing sound of a 100-foot waterfall nearby. Experience remote serenity with modern amenities and conveniences.

Main House:
The newly renovated main house features a beautiful kitchen with custom cabinets, quartz countertops, and new appliances. The interior has been freshly painted in updated colors, and the bathrooms have been modernized. Air conditioning has been added for comfort. The spacious living areas are perfect for relaxation, while the screened porch offers the perfect spot to listen to the nearby waterfall.

Guest Cottage:
The charming guest cottage is complete with its own bathroom and wet bar, offering privacy and comfort, ideal for families or couples traveling together.

Cell reception and internet service may be limited in this location; however, there are boosters in place.

This is a wonderful location! Very easily accessible to downtown but you feel tucked into the mountains. It is peaceful, quiet and has a well maintained outdoor space. It is in the mountains so you do need to be prepared that bugs get inside etc, but overall it was very clean. Kitchen could use a few more cookware pieces but we managed to cook several meals without much difficulty. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect place - beautiful views

Needed a place close to downtown for our family. We were in town for a family wedding. Wonderfall Cottage was perfect. Morning coffee at the waterfall watching the sun come up over the mountain was so beautiful. Communication with property manager and maintenance guy was easy and timely. The lavender pillow spray was a nice added touch. The town of Highland and Wonderfall Cottage are definitely a hidden gems. Thank you letting us stay.

Loved the Waterfall House

The house was beautiful and well appointed. Make sure if you book here you turn on the right when you see the sign for 189 the 185 sign is hidden on the right. It is one way coming in and out but we never encountered another vehicle. Very comfortable and I recommend buying the firewood. So cozy
