Airport Heights-Close to Alaska Regional Hospital 1 Bedroom

1) The ad clearly states it is a Mother-in-law's basement apartment. "you'll enter this lovingly-appointed Mother-in-law, basement, 1 bedroom apartment through your own private entrance" Though our guests receive all the comfort, the nightly price is reflective of the mother-in-law basement - more than $100 less per night than our other one-bedroom apartments. 2) The gardens are not included in the offering of this apartment. The ad says you walk through the luscious gardens. If the owners are not using the gardens, they will welcome guests, but it is not a condition of the rental of the apartment. 3) The photos of the apartment are accurate. They show the artistic painted floors and decor. 4) After the Stuarts raved about how wonderful the apartment was to the owners, Ms. Stuart told the owner she was claustrophobic after staying 5 nights in the apartment. We offered to put her into one of our other apartments but she was unwilling to pay the difference in price and said the apartment was just fine. 5) It is much more likely Stuart's bad review is because they were assessed damages - having spilled coffee on the brand new rug and they moved a piece of furniture which put a deep scratch in the floor. They broke other House Rules by having their grandson stay in the apartment with them - the rules clearly state there are to be no children in the apartment and no guests other than those on the rental agreement. 6) Ms. Stuart failed to mention the treats we left for them in the apartment or the gift they were given from the owners. We are Superhosts on another site with 5-star reviews. It is unfortunate that the Stuarts did not follow the rules or read the description before making their reservation. We would not be willing to rent to them again.
