Cozy Ocean Side Beach Cottage at Fantastic Location North End of Virginia Beach


Charming, clean and comfortable 1000 sq ft. 2-bedroom, sleeper couch, 1 1/2 bath cottage with outside shower located at the very end of the Ocean Side of Atlantic Avenue so there are no streets to cross. It's a short walk down a peaceful Live Oak tree-canopied pathway to the practically private beach. We are situated in a residential neighborhood so there are few tourists on the beach. If you need to accommodate a large family group, this duplex has another cottage available on the other side to sleep a total of 10 guests with children. See "B" VRBO #7341307(Beachy Keeny Cottage).

Discount given for 7 or more days during off season stays.

We only rent to families and forbid parties and group gatherings of any kind. Security Cameras monitor the property and any excess guest occupancy after 9:30pm or noise violation is cause for immediate termination of stay. Maximum sleeping restricted to families of 4 adults and 2 children.

You have access to the fenced-in back patio which hosts a small deck, charcoal grill, patio table seating 6 with chairs. The interior of the cottage is tastefully decorated and comfortable and includes all linens, bath towels, toiletries, and kitchenware.

We have FIOS Internet and Verizon Cable Television., 3 smart televisions, gas fireplace, a/c, heat and ceiling fans. There are 2 bedrooms with queen beds. The pull-out couch has a full mattress.

There is a separate laundry room ( clothes washer and dryer) / beach gear room with beach-towels. umbrellas, beach chairs, cart, toys and even surf boards.
Newer living room furniture, full size appliances, freezer with ice maker, electric stove, microwave and all the kitchen amenities you might need. Sorry, no dishwasher.

Three-mile drive to the beginning of the boardwalk, The Cavalier Hotel with fine dining and all the other activities of Virginia Beach. So many fun activities in the area. Just to name a few are First Landing State Park at 64th street and other side of Shore Drive, Cape Henry Lighthouse is walking distance to escort parking area, The Virginia Beach Aquarium, I-Fly indoor skydiving, TopGolf, movie theaters, bowling, music venues, are all also very close. The list goes on and on.

Lovely Family Vacation

We loved staying at this cozy cottage! It was just enough space for our family of 4 and a great location by the lighthouse and beach. Everything was provided as stated in the listing and our kids loved taking their buckets of sand toys to the beach, with a very close beach access point. The kids already want to come back!

A cute cottage that is just a short walk to the beach and away from the traffic of downtown Va beach. It is also close to wildife refuges, which was perfect for us. We are hoping to go back later this year.

Wonderfully quiet and cozy

Usually, we book at the Virgina Beach Boardwalk but this time, we wanted to try something different and decided for North Beach - it was a perfect stay. We enjoyed the quiet neighbourhood and relaxed atmosphere at the beach. The cottage had all amenities we needed, was super-clean, well maintained and decorated very tastefully with a beach theme. Love it here

We love coming here! This is our second year coming and absolutely love it. The place has everything that you need and is perfect walking distant to the beach. We were able to see some dolphins swimming from shore and relax on the beach and on the deck at the house. Thanks for making it a great place to stay!

Cozy place close to the beach

We loved our stay here! The outdoor patio is so cute and the inside is cozy without feeling cramped (except maybe the bathrooms - those are small but we made it work). The kitchen is super roomy and we LOVE the location! It’s in a quiet, private neighborhood and the walk to the beach takes less than 5 mins. We had a great week!

Cute cottage with great beach access and a quiet location at the end of Atlantic. Far enough away from everything to relax but close enough to have easy access to anything you'd like.A few small notes; when we arrived, there was a cracked wine glass on the counter and the toilet paper holder in the main bathroom was off the wall. There was a small hiccup with accessing the unit when we arrived. These were easily resolved and no fault of the host, who was prompt and gracious. My kiddos loved having easy access to the beach and piling onto the sleeper sofa for movie night.Would stay again, thank you for having us!

Adorable and comfy cottage

I stayed here with my partner and we had a marvelous time! We watched the sunrise on the beach which was a very short walk away. The cottage is so comfortable and well equiped. The neighborhood was quiet which is perfect for me because sometimes I can have a bit of insomnia, and am sensitive to noise. 10/10! Will definitely be staying here again.

Great location just far enough from the main stretch

My family of three stayed for a week in the peak season. The location and house were great. We don’t like when the beach is crazy busy, and this spot was perfect. The house included enough basics that we didn’t really need to use what we brought, save a couple items we preferred our own over what was there.We had an issue with the hot water, which we contacted the owner about halfway through our stay. They got a plumber out quickly but they weren’t able to fully solve the issue during our stay. Honestly; it wasn’t a huge deal for us considering the rest of the house was great, and we were pretty much only sleeping there.Turned out to be a great week. Will absolutely consider staying again for future vacations.

We had a great time at the house. The location was super, very close to the beach and without any crowds. The house was a bit musty at first but it aired out soon after we were there. The house was very well equipped and the owners were responsive. The bathrooms were very small but functional and clean.

Great Week at the Beach

This was our first vacation as a family of 3 and we loved how close we were to the beach. Our 2 year old loved waking up and watching Paw Patrol each morning and reading about Thomas each night. The walk to the beach was nice and the beach itself was great and wasn’t crowded at all. Everything we needed was included with the rental and we didn’t need to bring any extra beach things because they had it all. Thanks for the great week!

Beautiful, great spot!!

Cozy, Comfortable and Clean. I came down for a weekend to visit my son in the Navy to see him before he was going to be deployed. The cottage is not too big but accommodations were adequate. Good WIFI and very clean. Perfect spot for a family gathering. The kitchen had all cookware for our needs. The location is very convenient in a quiet residential neighborhood right outside of Fort Story gate 8. The short walk to the beach is a bonus. Love this area, I will be back
