Discounted availability thru April. 12. A 500 sq-ft suite above the garage of a custom house (private entrance). On the estuary of Necanicum river and Pacific ocean, this upstairs suite has its own heating wall units, electric fireplace, a beautiful bathroom with tile shower, a queen size pillow top bed, a sitting area, smart TV, and wifi. During Discounted available days thru March. During your stay, you will have your own privacy upstairs, access to two beach bikes, kayaks, and books. Stairs to The Beach are The 500 sq ft suite above the garage of a custom house (private entrance) on the estuary and the Necanicum river and the pacific ocean , The upstairs unit has its own heating and air conditioning., an electric fireplace, a beautiful bathroom with tile shower, queen size bed, sitting area, smart tv and wifi. During your stay you will enjoy total privacy. The beach is below the back yard down a series of stairs.

The space:
There is a 2 night minimum. 2nd floor estuary front studio with a fabulous ocean view. This adorable and pleasing suite offers a queen size bed with a electric fireplace (optional heat) large setting area. The new HDTV with wifi (Netflix ready) digital cable. Kitchenette with microwave, toaster oven, small refrigerator, coffee pot and all amenities.

If you are looking for a perfect spot for that special occasion, a home base for outdoor adventures, or simply to be away from it all - we hope you will choose our home.


You have bikes and kayaks in the garage.

Guest access:
You have the garage door with a pin pad and once inside there is an exit to the side yard that will take you to the beach

Interaction with guests:
You will have the convenience of self checkin. Arriving at your convenience. I am only a phone call away with any and all questions.

We love to enter act with our guests but your privacy is most important to us. If you would like to meet just message me. I do not live full time in Seaside but I am there every week usually on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Other things to note:
We are pet friendly. One dog. No limit on size. There is a pet fee so please add it to your reservation.
We have an ocean view and you are steps away from the beach.

We enjoyed our stay here so much. It was so cozy, and the accomodatiins for our dog was unexpected! We (and she) loved the huge dog biscuits, and it was nice that extra sheets, a dog bed, and dishes were provided. We'd love to come back.

Beautiful property in a great location

What a great place to stay in Seaside, Oregon! The property is beautiful and just a walk down the path to the beach. Bonnie is a wonderful host and easy to reach should you need anything. We followed her advice for a daily morning bike ride and we loved every minute of it.

Seaside Serenity

My daughter and I stayed at this Seaside lodging as our home away from home for three days an two nights. We had a wonderful time at Bonnie’s property! The two bikes and two kayaks were pleasant additions to the rental and we used both to explore the town and estuary in more intimate detail. The property is in a fantastic location and a short drive to the Cannon Beach area. We enjoyed our stay very much and would call this home again the next time we’re in town!

Cute beach studio

Nice studio right on the beach. Loved being able to walk the steps to the beach, a little scary at night with the primitive path but we did it both nights. Seaside is a busy little coastal town but the studio is far enough away that we didnt have to deal with all the traffic.

Seaside suite

The view and the amenities were beyond our expectation. All the comforts of home. The short walk to the public beach access was wonderful, but not as adventurous as the private access. The welcoming of our Cocker Spaniel Duchess was a special touch. We are looking forward to our next stay so we can explore more of the coastal areas.

Great place to stay!

Everything was exactly as described, actually seemed larger in person. We had no issues whatsoever! Home is in a safe area just a short drive or bike to the downtown area. We took advantage of the bikes and although we didn’t use the kayaks, both were bonuses! We loved the little path down to the estuary… beautiful scenery. The host was extremely responsive to my messages and I would definitely stay again!

Private quiet PERFECT spot

We checked in with absolutely no issues. We had our small dog so we hung out most of the time with her. We went for a walk in town on Saturday and did mostly take out for our meals. Great spot to just chill as we were here for that and we did. Don't pass this spot up if you have the opportunity to travel to Seaside. We will be back.

Neal and i were both born and raised in Oregon. I was raised in Lebanon and Neal was raided on a potato farm in Malin. He moved to to Central Oregon in 1966 after graduating from Pacific University in Forest Grove. I came to Redmond in 1967. Neal taught physical education and I taught adult education, sewing at night for Central Oregon Community College.

We met and married in 1986 and started Your $10 Stores. He left teaching to work with the stores. We opened 50 stores in two years. 25 were ours and 25 were folks who wanted help to open their own.

We still operate 4 clothing stores in Sisters, Sunriver and Seaside. We have dropped the $10 and the are just names Your Store. Our price today to $6.99 to $24.99.

In 1996 we opened a guest ranch in Sisters on our farm and it was called Rags to Walkers. The big white barn was full of Tennessee Walking horses and Frank White Stables. We were in operation until 2001. We found that running the stores and the guest ranch was more than we could do. So after a long rest, we had used VBRO when we had the guest ranch and decided to reopen at three locations one Sisters and two in Seaside. So in 2017 we opened the bunkhouse and a private suite in our house in Seaside.

In 2018 we added another private suite with a private entrance in Seaside. This room has an outside deck and a spectacular view of the ocean.

In December 2018 we completed a complete remodel on one of the farmhouses on the property. The farmhouse sleeps four. IN March 2019 another farmhouse, we call the cottage, was completely remodeled right down to the 2x4's.

Both homes have large complete kitchens and amazing mountain views.

We love sharing our farm and like traveling with our dogs so one dog is welcome.

Come visit and enjoy our trails and all the animals that reside here.

Why they chose this property

We were riding our bikes out for a day ride and rode by this house with a sign that read "open house tomorrow" Well we took a chance and knocked on the door and ask the details and told the seller we would buy it, It took her off guard and she said someone els e had done the same thing and she would have to let them know. They upped the price, but she took our offer because it was a clean offer and no contingencies. When we actually moved in a month later, we were shocked at the disrepair. After extensive remodel and adding the garage, we are so happy with the location and the home.

What makes this property unique

Being on the Estuary is so wonderfully peaceful. You are far enough away from the busy hustle of Seaside but only and mile away. A short walk, bike ride or inline skate. The river provides a fun experience with the kayaks that are provided. the backyard is fenced, and the views are spectacular, if you like watching wildlife you are in for a treat. We often have heard of elk and the bird watching will amaze you from bald eagles to herons.
