This is a wonderful place for a group stay. We were 4 women who throughly enjoyed the well-equiped kitchen, the 4 eclectically decorated rooms with comfortable beds, and the entire ambiance. The ONLY downside was that on the cold and rainy day when we hoped to watch movies, we were unable to get the TV to work. The manager was out of town, and while he communicated with us, he really didn't have a solution, unfortunately. That was disappointing.
A Wonderful Mountain Getaway with Rustic Charm! We had a wonderful stay at Matt’s home during our family getaway to the Flagstaff area! The house was spacious, comfortable, and full of personality. Its rustic cowboy charm and eclectic collection of artwork made it feel unique and inviting, with something interesting to discover around every corner. Our dogs enjoyed their stay just as much as we did, which made the experience even better! We also took full advantage of the outdoor grill, preparing a delicious family dinner while enjoying the cool mountain air.One of our favorite features was the skylights in the upstairs bedrooms. There’s something truly special about lying in bed at night and looking up at the stars. What a beautiful way to end the day!Communication with Matt was excellent throughout our stay. He was friendly, responsive, and easy to reach whenever needed.Overall, this was a memorable and relaxing getaway filled with family time, good food, and beautiful surroundings. We’d gladly stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a spacious, pet-friendly retreat with plenty of character.Muchas gracias, Matt, for sharing your home with us!
Excellent parking for multiple cars. Everything was clean. The host was very responsive to questions. Some of the mattresses were a little hard, but I prefer a little softer mattress.
The decor and furniture of the home was eclectic but put together nicely. The issue is no Air Conditioning. It is my fault for not verifying. Having said this, Flagstaff gets hot! Not as hot as Phoenix but it still gets hot. The upstairs easily reached the mid to upper 80’s and does not get cool until late in the night.
We stayed at this pet-friendly beautiful Artist Chalet Cabin Home in the forest pine of Flagstaff from a Wednesday thru Sunday as a family, celebrating our eldest daughter’s graduation, white coat & pinning ceremony as she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) at Northern Arizona University (NAU). This home is close to everything in Flagstaff, yet you feel nestled deep in the woods. Sun ceiling windows in rooms & bedrooms allows you to wake up with views of the sky overhead, and fall asleep seeing stars peeking through on a clear night. Gorgeous lighting, inside & out. 4 bedrooms with comfortable beds & linens; 2 full baths. Large grill on wraparound outside porch. Plenty of parking for several cars on the side of the house. Fire pit in front of house. Close to hiking. No A/C, ceiling fans & room fans throughout. Host was highly professional & easy to work with when we accidentally set off the fire alarm! Have coffee or a nightcap on the wraparound porch wrought iron swing or settee. Would definitely rent again. Loved it and our family time spent at this artistic dream home.
The home was cozy and had all the necessities for staying in with family or friends. The home also has adequate backyard space for your dog(s) and the neighborhood is quiet and in a secure area.
This was the perfect property for my friends and I. We attended out wedding and Flagstaff. It was clean quaint, and that was a perfect host. I would definitely recommend this location.
