Enjoyable stay in the woods

We enjoyed being away from the hustle and bustle of Flagstaff but still within a quick drive. Wi-Fi was reliable for working remotely and we loved our escape from the Phoenix heat.

Truly an amazing property! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Craig is an exceptional host who is very responsive and informative. We were lucky enough to see elk on the property nearly everyday we were there! The location is perfect. Its about 12 minutes from downtown yet provide immense peace and tranquility. We can't wait to stay again!

Another Great Trip

This was our second time staying at this property and is truly amazing. It’s outside of town and surrounded by beautiful forest yet close enough to take advantage of everything Flagstaff has to offer. We loved the privacy and serenity. Holiday Weekend Stay

An excellent location to stay for a weekend getaway. Property was well stocked, clean and had all the amenities needed for an easy getaway. We're very happy with our time there and will add this place to our list of homes to return to in the future.

Very enjoyable stay

My wife and I had an enjoyable stay at Hindmans Hideaway. The facilities were clean and well kept. We will be interested in coming back in the summertime.

This place was great! Dog friendly and comfy, cozy and close to skiing! Craig was in contact and the neighbors were friendly! The bunk house was a highlight with the pool table and pac man arcade game! Thank you Craig!

Pine Perfection.

Very cool cabin, like how the 2 bunk beds with the pool table were apart from the main cabin, us younger ones could have a good laugh with out waking up the older people hahah

Peace and Quite

This cabin was my ideal spot: away from the hustle and bustle. It is a truly beautiful spot surrounded by pine trees and nature. It is down a dirt road and then a private long drive way. The pictures were accurate. Well stocked kitchen with dishes and nice pots and pans. The 2nd bathroom is very nice and off/outside the main house. We didn't use but would of if there was more of us. We spent a night playing in the game room; which was fun! I'd stay here again.

Beautiful property

Really enjoyed our stay at Hindmans Hideaway! The property is gorgeous and the location is great only being ~10-15 mins from town, yet you still feel secluded in the woods. Our boys LOVED the bunk house; having their separate space…and it offered lots for them to do when some rain storms rolled through. As other reviews have mentioned, the placement of the second bathroom is a bit awkward (especially when pouring rain…glad we brought an umbrella) and you can hear the train (which I was prepared for based on other reviews). The neighbor’s dogs did great us rather unpleasantly on one of the days, but Craig advised they plan to put up a fence to separate his property from the neighbors which I think will be a good add. Overall, we’d definitely stay here or at one of Craig’s other properties again.

Our stay at this cozy cabin in Flagstaff was nothing short of incredible! Nestled among the towering pines, the cabin offered the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. From the moment we arrived, the fresh mountain air and peaceful surroundings set the tone for a relaxing getaway. The cabin itself was immaculately clean and well-stocked with everything we needed. We spent our mornings sipping coffee on the porch, watching wildlife pass by, and our evenings stargazing—Flagstaff’s dark skies are unbeatable for this! Location-wise, it’s ideal. Just a short drive from the heart of Flagstaff, we had easy access to restaurants, shops, and attractions like the Lowell Observatory and Walnut Canyon. Yet, the cabin was far enough from the hustle and bustle to feel secluded and peaceful. We also took advantage of nearby hiking trails, and day trips to Sedona and the Grand Canyon were convenient from this base. Sitting under the stars after a long day of exploring was the ultimate relaxation! Overall, this cabin offered the perfect escape for those looking to disconnect and unwind. Whether you're seeking adventure or tranquility, this spot has it all. We can’t wait to return!

The property was amazing, we only stayed one night, so we didn't get a chance to explore the area. You are tucked up in the woods away from society, extremely roomy, great for large groups. Next time we're in the area, we will stay here again, hopefully for a longer stay.

Unfortunately, we were there for a wedding and we anticipated an iron and board be onsite, when we arrived and were under a time constraint it took 2.5 hours for a reply from the manager and at that point I had to drive into town at the last minute and buy both items, his answer was just that he would reimburse me if I left them there. Nothing for the last minute inconvenience and that’s where the texts stopped from him. Several items were broken (tv frame all cracked and hanging crooked, window drapes falling out of mounts), hardly any water pressure for the main shower. It is a good location just have stayed in many others where attention to details were paid attention to. Honestly, if it was my property and it said that the iron/board was an amenity, I would’ve taken one right away myself. It was a great getaway, great property for a family but be aware that you are charged per person because water has to be hauled in for the exact amount of guest. Also, it doesn’t state anywhere that the bunkhouse does not have AC, it was very warm when we used it for pool and pac man.

Always a relaxing time

We have been staying here for about 4 years. We love the location and the privacy it affords. We have three small dogs and they enjoy getting to explore outside all day. The cabin is spacious enough for more than two adults with enough sleeping and facilities to bring bigger families/groups here. The communication is always amazing and timely. Every time we’ve had a question or concerns, Craig has responded straight away. There is a pretty well stocked kitchen and grill. The bunk house has a pool table and arcade games. WiFi is available and works great. All in all, we will continue coming here, hopefully, for many more years to come!

Hidden Hideaway

We came up to escape the Phoenix heat for a week and this place was perfect! Hidden away so it was a peaceful respite from city life but close enough to Flagstaff to still run into town for any needs. We were also able to easily visit the Grand Canyon, Winslow, Williams and explore downtown Flagstaff on day trips. The kids and adults loved the games and enjoyed walks around the property. Would absolutely recommend for any family!
