Great jungle house!

Nice house with lots of wildlife! Saw monkeys, macaws and many other colorful birds. The pool could use some TLC but served its purpose and was nice to jump into after a day of excursions. Check in and check out process was smooth and we were lucky to get early check in and late check out.

GREAT PLACE

We had a wonderful time at this well situated, spacious 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom place in near Manual Antonio National Park. The house was in good condition: the owner and maintenance staff helpful with our needs, the pool well taken care of and very refreshing, the AC great etc. One either needs a rental car to move around, shop etc or one can choose from a variety of cab and van services. We did the later and it worked perfectly. Many thanks!

Everything we needed

We needed to check in early and Ignacio was there to let us in right away. He was very helpful showing us around and even dropped off supplies for the grill afterwards. It is perfectly located in between Quepos and Manuel Antonio, and the bus is within a couple minutes walk from the house. Taxi and Uber were also available after the bus was done for the day. The little time we spent at the house was very pleasant and peaceful. We were visited by the neighbors dog Mila a couple times, and we saw lots of monkeys, lizards, and colorful birds while hanging out by the pool. The AC was great after a long day at the beach.

This property is incredible. The house is beautiful and the location is private and quiet. We had amazing daily visits from the local wildlife. We had squirrel monkeys playing in the trees and sloths and iguanas as well. We heard and saw toucans and scarlet macaws on a regular basis. It is just a few minutes drive to some amazing beaches and restaurants. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience the area.

My parents owned Casa Luna and passed to me and my family last year! I always loved it because it was the last place my dad traveled to before passing... My mother is from Bolivia, my dad from United States. I grew up in California.
I come to Costa Rica three or four times per year. Sometimes alone, sometimes with my family and kids; they take private Surf Lessons and private Spanish Lessons everytime we are here. We always have a great time in Manuel Antonio! Perfect place to enjoy alone or with the ones you love... :)

Why they chose this property

Because it is located on a tico-gringo area where the mix of locals, expats and travelers makes for a vibrant and varied community, where people are friendly and tranquil. Casa Luna Manuel Antonio is located far enough from the main road to avoid all the traffic noise but as close as a five minutes walk to get public transportation in case you don't fell like driving. Good idea if you want to enjoy a couple of drinks during "Happy Hour" and watch amazing sunsets... ;)

What makes this property unique

The garden is more like a little piece of jungle: tall trees, green plants, cool insects, monkeys, birds, reptiles... During the rainy season, there is small stream that runs right beside the house which gives a pleasant and relaxing felling, specially when i enjoy my favorite drink and read my book in the porch or look at the nature or see my kids playing in the pool. Inside the house, the rooms are super spacious. Big and open kitchen, dinning and living areas. The bedrooms are large too :)
