Perfect for our family! Close to the lake, kids caught lots of fish in canal. Fire pit was a hit for s’mores and adult relaxation and cocktails . Owner was great to work with!
We loved our time here. The house layout was perfect, spacious and kid friendly. Nicole was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Location was amazing, quiet but not far from nearby attractions.
Had a great long weekend stay. The hosts are super responsive and very helpful. The house is in a perfect location, super clean, and very nicely furnished. We will be staying here again. Highly recommended.
We had a wonderful time. We rented a boat for 3 days and having the dock was priceless. The home is comfortable with plenty of tvs and game room for more fun. The hostess was the best! The patio was so beautiful to sit outside and the hot tub under the stars was so relaxing. We also kayaked and spent some days at the beautiful sandy beach. Would love to come back.
Lovely home close to lake. Boat dock and 2.5 bathrooms. Fully stocked and very comfortable. We very much enjoyed the jacuzzi and fire pit after boating. House is well maintained and has everything you could ask for. Owner Nicole very attentive to our needs and it was a pleasure dealing with her.
This is a very nice house in a great location. The house itself is well equipped and very comfortable. The owners are pleasant and attentive, without being interfering.
I highly recommend this property.
The home was absolutely fantastic. Had everything we needed for our stay. Communication with the home owner was amazing. We will return and stay again.
Our family of 7 enjoyed everything about our stay. The set up of the house was perfect with 3 separate living room spaces for people to enjoy. We loved the game room with the shuffle board table. We used all of the outside amenities and the kids enjoyed the kayaks and jacuzzi. We would definitely recommend this house for a relaxing and enjoyable family vacation.
Fantastic time spent with family. This house was great for our multifamily needs. tons of kitchen tools for all your cooking needs. washer and dryer was key for bathing suits and towels.
We had an absolute blast at this property! From hot tubing, to kayaking, and enjoying the outdoor patio you won’t run out of fun things to do at this beautiful home. Nicole and Mike were amazing hosts which made the experience even better!
We spent a few days at this property and it was amazing. Very clean and extremely well stocked kitchen. Comfortable rooms and lots of space to spread out and relax. We loved being right on the channel…it was just a minute or two boat ride to the main lake. The hot tub is a wonderful added bonus! The owners are great and very responsive. We will absolutely rent this one again!
Year after year we stay at this place and it doesn't disappoint. Has everything you need in the house. Best house I've ever rented and owners are amazing to deal with. Thank you for opening your home to us once again
Pefect house for our yearly getaway to Winnisquam. Canal was easy to get in and out of with our boat, and the back patio was amazing for hanging out after dinner. Plenty of room inside for our big family to gather, but also, plenty of additional rooms and space to get away for some quiet time. Kitchen was very well equipped with everything we could have needed and the bedrooms we nicely set up with good-sized beds for all different types of ages and needs. Owners were very attentive to any questions we might have had during the stay. 10 out of 10.
This property was perfect. We were 3 families, with kids of various ages. From the location, to the house filled with games, and kitchen with all the necessities, to the kayaks, everything was perfect. Including Nicole, who checked in with me frequently. We’re already talking about booking again for a winter trip.
Had a wonderful week at Nicole & Mike’s house on Lake Winnisquam, the home is fantastic with lots to do in the home and outdoors, as well as being a quick ride to the main part of the lake. Having the kayaks, hot tub, shuffleboard and numerous games & tvs kept everyone happy. Thanks again!
We were a little skeptical because of the weather conditions in NH. Making a reservation earlier in the year you never know how the weather is going to be. Our host gave us great suggestions, as we had a few days of rainy weather but the game room is phenomenal. Our grandkids we never heard we are bored, always something for them to do. My only regret is we should have stayed two weeks rather than one. This is the place to stay.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience and Nicole & Mike’s pristine rental home! The location is amazing - we enjoyed kayaking out into the lake right from the back yard. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything so we could enjoy coffee and breakfast sandwiches in the morning and close out the day with grilled meats, salad and sides. The house is so spacious! We were a group of 5 and had tons of space to spread out - inside and out. Nicole was so communicative and helpful leading up to our rental, providing local recommendations and clear instructions. We look forward to renting again in the future!
So much to do at this perfect outdoor vacation spot. My family enjoyed kayaking, fishing and swimming in the lake. We are miniature golf enthusiasts and there is a Pirates Cove location within a short drive. If you enjoy outdoor lake adventures, this is the ideal spot. The home itself was perfect for our family. We roasted s’mores and grilled out most nights during our stay. The game room also offered us many family bonding hours that didn’t include screens. The kids are already begging to go back!
We rented this place for a long weekend with a group of 9 in January. This house is perfect for group gatherings. The whole place was spotless and had all the amenities. The kitchen is the most well stocked short-term rental kitchen I have ever seen, with every type of pot and pan, spices, even a salad spinner. The hot tub is fantastic and the fireplace was so cozy. We didn't leave the house much because we were having such a good time there, but there are plenty of short hikes and things to do nearby, also very close to stores, restaurants, etc. The host was extremely responsive and made check in/check out very easy. We would absolutely rent this place again.
We couldn’t have felt more welcome when we walked into this perfect home for our family vacation with our adult children and their girlfriends. We rented a boat and walked to pick it up and was able to leave it at the dock at the home! We had campfires, we took hot tubs, went kayaking with the owner provided kayaks! The house has plenty of linens, a well stocked kitchen, all kinds of games for relaxing and just spending time together. The house was clean and in a very quiet neighborhood. We will be back for sure. Nicole was awesome as well, very responsive. Thank you for having us at your home!
Amazing home and location! House had a great floor plan, bedrooms on either side and living quarters in the middle. Awesome game room. Huge upscale kitchen. The outdoor area with hot tub and expansive deck was where we spent most of our time. Large grill and outdoor table. Great fire pit! And the hot tub felt good after a day on the lake. Nicole was amazing and helped facilitate a location to keep our boat when we realized it would not fit under the foot bridge. Sun Ray Shores is beautiful and a very unique neighborhood on the Lake. We enjoyed the sandbar and boating over to Dox for drinks and dinner. We made unforgettable memories with our family and thank Nicole and Mike for the use of their wonderful home. Ten stars!
We had such a great time during our stay on Lake Winnisquam. This property is fabulous. The kids and adults really enjoyed the games and the fire pit. The kids also loved the bunk bed room. They felt like it was their secret hideaway. Nicole was super responsive and is so nice. We highly recommend this property.

About the host
Hosted by Nicole & Mike
We are a young couple living in Dorchester, MA with a love of NH and everything it has to offer. We decided to keep our cramped apartment in the city and invest in a place where we can spread out and get away no matter the season. We have worked tirelessly to turn this house into a home for our friends, family and renters to enjoy. When we're not fighting city traffic and working as an electrician and a childcare provider you can find us splashing around on the lake or skiing down a mountain. We're into adventures in any capacity and love spending time with friends, family and our dog George. We had great success renting our house last year before spending the fall and winter updating and renovating. Now its time to reopen our home for lake lovers to enjoy our happy place as much as we do!
Why they chose this property
We chose this house after looking at countless houses in the Lakes Region. We've always rented in the area and never thought owning was an option. We knew we wanted something less than 2 hours from Boston, knew we wanted a big space to entertain in and knew we wanted water access, we never thought waterfront was an option. We walked into the house on a cold dark day in January with a vision and some hope that it had potential when the canal wasn't covered in 4 feet of snow. A few months later, when the ice was gone and the grass got greener, we knew we made the best decision ever. Although we have a great appreciation for the tradition lake cottage with knotty pine walls and woodland vibe, this house is bright and open and has views of the water from almost any room in the house. There is more space that we can utilize. Family vacations are about togetherness, but we're thankful that even with a full house, there isn't a chance of feeling cramped. We may have done it backwards and bought a vacation home before a house in the suburbs with a white picket fence, but the memories we've made in the year we've owned it make it worth it.
What makes this property unique
This House is more than we could have ever imagined. Bright, airy and wide open. Its the little things that make this place home. Sitting around the fire on a summer night with friends and family. The big open kitchen with views throughout the house and space for the whole family to sit and share a meal. Waking up and looking out onto the canal with a cup of coffee. Hopping on a boat or kayak from the back yard and spending the day on the water or grabbing a towel and splashing on the beach. Getting off the slopes and soaking in the hot tub. Spending a rainy day watching movies, playing shuffleboard or a game of chess. Less than 5 minutes to shopping and knowing that forgetting a gallon of milk isn't going to be a damper on the day. Everything you need is in the back yard, and everything you would want is accessible within minutes. We could not ask for more.
