Welcome to our large comfortable luxury waterfront vacation home, located in a residential neighborhood in beautiful Southeast Cape Coral! You’ll find this fabulous paradise is convenient to beaches, boating, shopping, restaurants, and minutes by boat to the Caloosahatchee River and the Gulf of Mexico.

We are located about 30 minutes from the Southwest Florida Airport (RSW), Punta Gorda Airport and across the river from Fort Myers. This places you minutes away from magnificent Sanibel and Captiva Islands, Fort Myers Beach, and the artist colony at Matlacha. Nearby tourist attractions include the Boston Red Sox and Minnesota Twins Spring training facilities in Fort Myers, and the Sun Splash water park in Cape Coral.

Florida’s famous Disneyworld and Sea World can be reached within 3 hours via Interstates 75 and 4. Close-by shopping conveniences feature a Publix grocery store featuring foods for every taste, Wal-Mart Supercenter and the Del Prado
shopping district. Dining at Rumrunners Restaurant and the waterfront restaurants of Fort Myers can be reached by car or boat.

You will love the views from the Master bedroom suite, great room, kitchen and
family room, all of which open onto the spacious south-facing heated pool overlooking the Genoa Canal. The screened lanai area and the pool feature an outdoor shower and an extra bathroom for convenience.

You’ll be certain to enjoy some of the magnificent Florida sunrises and sunsets that can be viewed on the 335 days of sunshine that Cape Coral enjoys. The modern kitchen features a microwave, smooth top cooking stove, and every convenience that you will need for your dining pleasure at your home away from home.

The Villa’s split bedroom plan gives your luxurious Master Suite complete privacy. The Master features: french doors that open onto the lanai and waterfall pool ( view the sunrise from your bedroom), private bath with double sinks and a large walk-in shower and a large walk-in closet.

Our second guest room has a luxurious Queen size bed with new linens and the third guest room has a pair of Twin beds. All three bedrooms include LED LCD HDTV's with Cable. The guest bathroom has a combination shower and bathtub. The pool area has a half bath and an outdoor shower.

Luxurious Royal Palms and landscaping surround our quality custom home, built in 2001 by local craftsmen. You’ll be certain to appreciate the dock area with its own power and 7,000 lb boat lift, which provides opportunities for fishing and boating throughout the Paradise of Cape Coral.

Only one 11-foot bridge is encountered on the shortest path to the Gulf via the Honolulu Canal, or you can cruise the beautiful Rubicon Canal to Cape Coral’s Gold Coast. Bring your boat, or allow us to help you find a one to make the best of your stay.

We were so surprised at how every need and a lot of wants were met. The house was beautiful and quiet, just what we were looking for! We were in the pool every day. We really enjoyed the pool! There were books to read and a lot of games to play. The weather as rainy off and on ,but didn’t affect our swimming as it cleared up every day. The kitchen was equipped with every thing and then some. We loved our stay and would like to come back some day. The hostess was very quickly responsive to every question! We had a perfect vacation ! Perfect place to stay and relax

We love to stay at Villa Genoa. It's perfect for our family of five. The pool with waterfall is great. My boys love to fish for catfish in the canal. We've found some great family friendly restaurants near by. The Villa is close to many beaches. We love the location. It's very clean and updated. We look forward to our return every year.

Great Villa with lots to do

We keep coming back to this villa for our vacation. It's very clean and meets out needs. We love that it's located to so many beaches. Venice beach, Sanibal Island,Naples beach and Fort Myers. We enjoy the access to the pool and our boys like to fish in the canal. This year we rented kayaks and explored the canals. Looking forward to our next visit.

Great Stay, Great Hosts

Our stay was great, no issues. The hosts were prompt and friendly in their responses. My daughter left some rings in the bathroom and the hosts / staff mailed them to us at no cost. The home was clean and comfortable; the kitchen was well stocked. My two younger boys spent a ton of time in the pool. If we were to stay in Cape Coral again, we would stay here!

What an amazing time we had at this beautiful home. It was furnished with all the necessities and more! The beds were comfortable, the pool was refreshing, and the home was wonderful. We can not say enough great things about this home. I did contact the owner because I had some questions. She was very helpful and pleasant. This home is perfect!

Simply amazing

The owners have a very nice place here. We were very impressed with how clean the house and pool area was and everything maintained in perfect order. We spent allot of our time on the lanai and in the pool, the kids also spent allot of their time fishing in the canal. The area is also in a great location for day trips Fort Myers, Sanibal and Captiva Islands, Venice etc. We found a bunch of cool restaurants in the area and also spent time shelling and looking for sharks teeth and were very successful. Thanks for the great time and we will be back.

A Fabulous Find

Our sincere thanks to the Smith's for sharing their beautiful home. We are regular customers of Home Away and have stayed at a number of their locations. Never have we felt so welcomed and comfortable at a vacation rental than at Villa Genoa. It is everything represented in the pictures and much, much more. It is wonderfully decorated, very clean and sanitary, and just a wonderful place to relax and enjoy. Rachelle was very accommodating and helpful during our stay. Her attention to detail was spectacular and helped make our stay very safe. The suggestions on places to dine, beaches, shopping marts, etc. made it an almost effortless trip. We also highly suggest Red's Restaurant for seafood if you visit Southwest Florida. We can't thank you enough. Should we have a need to again visit this area, we certainly will contact you and revisit our 'home away from home'.

Very comfortable stay!

We went down for the month of October and had a great time. The house was clean upon arrival and comfortable for our long stay. House has everything you need. Owners are great at communication! Its really nice being on the canal. The waterfall in the pool combined with the canal made for a very enjoyable setting. We ate a lot of meals on the outdoor table under the covered area with the double fans. Fished off the dock with frozen shrimp and caught a few. Enjoyed the heated pool alot! A small but nice featured in the master bath was the heater, it was great for after a night swim or shower. It was really nice to have the air conditioned half bath outside so kids can change out of wet clothes without going inside and use restroom wothout completely drying off. We biked in the neighborhood on days we didnt go to the beach or bike in a preserve. House is less than a mile to walmart, publix, and planet fitness. Went to lots of beaches, some of our favorites were captiva, lovers key, bonita dog beach. and barefoot beach.

Excellent Stay

My family decided to escape the cold to spend the week of Thanksgiving in S. Florida. We had a wonderful stay. The house is exactly as advertised. It is very well equipped...as well equipped (or better) than any house we've stayed in. We were able to prepare a full Thanksgiving dinner in the kitchen. There two crock pots, a hand mixer, plenty of pots and pans, etc. The pool was beautifully maintained. The neighborhood is nice. We enjoyed evenings outside by the pool but our days were spent traveling to the beaches at Sanibel and Ft. Myers (about 20-30 minutes away). The house had beach chairs, beach mats, and truly everything we needed. The Cape Coral area is ok--plenty of nearby grocery stores and restaurants--but we were there for the sunshine, the beaches and the pools. The communication from the owner was excellent. We didn't have any issues, but I'm sure they would have been responsive if he had needed anything. Prior to our arrival, they were excellent and even checked in on us upon our arrival. Overall, everything was excellent and we had a wonderful stay. My only complaint is that we had to go home to the cold. Would definitely stay here again.

The house is exactly like the photos! PERFECT in every way! Loved the location - close to shopping, to Sanibel, Captiva and Matlacha. Quiet neighborhood and friendly area! Relaxing in the pool and lanai was the best! Saw an iguana on the dock! Bed was comfortable and instructions for kitchen etc were great! We hated to leave! Just a perfect place!!!

Excellent Stay - Loved It

We had such a great time at Villa Genoa. The house is immaculate. The pool is awesome and the view of the canal is icing on the cake. There is plenty of space in the house and it has all of the amenities you would ever need for a fantastic stay. We loved that we could bring our dog - he also enjoyed himself! Communication with the owner was super fast - all queries and messages were replied to almost immediately and in a friendly / helpful manner. The house is very near to everything: restaurants, shopping, etc. We would love to come back to Villa Genoa! We highly recommend this VRBO property!

Very clean property

The house was very clean, equipped with everything you could possibly need, well maintained, and spacious. We felt very comfortable in this property. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. The pool is amazing! Beds are comfortable. Loved visiting Sanibel Beach and Gator Mike’s for some zip lining and arcade fun with our son. We had an excellent stay and will be back if we’re in the area.

We had been looking for a home in Florida for a while. My husband visited Cape Coral and found the Villa. He had a feeling it would be a great vacation spot for our family. He was right!

What makes this property unique

The Villa is in a desirable location, close to everything you could ever need. While there recently we enjoyed shelling at Sanibel Is., Fort Myers Beach, and most of all just sitting on the Lanai and swimming in the pool. Most of our bookings are repeat guests from the time we bought! Help is just a phone call away if you have any questions. We employ local people (neighbors) to do landscaping, maintenance, and cleaning. So if something comes up during your stay a quick fix is doors away!
