Pull up a whitewashed farmhouse chair for a leisurely breakfast at this private cottage nestled in extensive lawned gardens. White panelling, abundant natural light, and a soft, neutral colour palette create a Hamptons vibe.

Have some fun playing a round of golf next to the cottage, go for a paddle on Lake Weyba, part of the Noosa Everglades, while having a mob of kangaroos as your audience.

On Lake Weyba, close to Peregian Beach, Noosa and Coolum, a natural beauty & tranquillity only known by locals.

Lake Weyba Noosa Lodge & Kangaroos offers free WiFi, air conditioning, a campfire place next to the cottage and direct access to Lake Weyba, where you can go for a paddle, fish or windsurf on Lake Weyba.

The lodge has a kitchen with a dishwasher, a microwave and a fridge, a living room (Smart TV) with a seating area, a dining area, three bedrooms, and one bathroom with a bath and a shower.

There is an outdoor campfire area next to the cottage. Have a barbecue on the back-deck BBQ or use the campfire place next to the cottage. Guests also can go cycling nearby.

Beautiful little cottage in gorgeous scenic surrounds. Enjoyed standing on the balcony watching the roos. Unfortunately we were only there for a weekend and wish we had more time to explore. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms can get quite warm despite the fan and aircon.

What an amazing cottage and property...beautiful short walk to the lake, friendly wildlife, Rob is a great host as well. Close to Noosa Heads and Noosaville if you are looking for restaurants and beaches. Really great experience, highly recommend.

Lovely little getaway

Beautiful little cottage, spotlessly clean and fully stocked with everything you need plus more.. easy process to check in and communicate with owner. Lovely to have aftwrnoinbdrinks and morning coffee with the wildlife about. Super close to Noosa to pop into for day visits, markets and dinner as well.

Great family getaway. Amazing lake access

Fantastic 3 night stay with family (2 kids). Easy private access to Lake Weyba, which is rare. Perfect place for the kids to kayak and explore, make sure you check out the creek. Amazing sunsets on the lake with drinks (and dog in tow). Rob's a great host, happy to answer any questions.

Relaxing and private getaway

Highly recommend if you are looking for private relaxing getaway close to nature with family or friends. The property has everything you need to chill out plus access to activities to keep those that wish to be active happy. Could have stayed longer than 2 nights and plan to book it again to enjoy with my children. The property manager was also very personable at check in and check out time.

Tranquility at the Lake

We had the best time at the Lake Weyba Noosa Lodge, everything we needed was there. Very comfortable beds, had the best night's sleep so peaceful. Our treasured memory will be standing in the lake (the water was warm) and watching the sunset over the mountains and walking back to our cottage with the kangaroos all around us and two curious kookaburras escorting us home, unforgetable!!! Thank you Rob for a great stay.

Stunning location

Amazing wildlife, with fantastic birdlife and kangaroo mob. Every morning one could just listen to the evocative dawn chorus., and at night, watch flocks of birds arriving to roost. Free use of canoes on the lake was lovely and the whole area was just teeming with wildlife. Owner really friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anyone.

A peaceful haven

We had the most wonderful time at this beautiful property.The cottage was charming and very comfortable…. We enjoyed our strolls to the glassy Lake Weyba…,fishing and canoeing….. Each night we kicked back and toasted marshmallows over the campfire , near the cottage.. All in all it was a wonderful, relaxing stay and our host Rob was very welcoming and very helpful…. We all agreed we’d love to come back again for another visit in the future….

Perfect weekend away

This weekend cottage near Lake Weyba is an absolute dream! Super quiet, surrounded by nature, and you’ll even have kangaroos hopping by. Kayaking on the lake—it’s so peaceful and beautiful. If you’re after a relaxing escape away from the noise, this place is perfect! I loved waking up to the sounds of nature! The cottage itself is cute and very comfortable with everything you need. Thank you for providing everything from shampoo to olive oil - it makes it so much easier! We will be returning to this gem!

Hidden gem

This is a great little retreat away from the hussle and bussle, yet so close to shops, the lake and the beach. Enough room for the family and friends to catch up. The house was comfortable and equipped with everything you would need. Rob was so accommodating, checking in on us to make sure everything was suitable. Thankyou.

Fantastic stay!

Kangaroos are there everyday! They provided lots of toilet paper, soaps shampoos etc and condiments and tea coffee etc. A complimentary bottle of wine was a lovely touch. I was worried we would be cold but it was cosy and warm and heaps of extra bedding options there. Modern fittings inside. It was winter but we still kayaked at the lake with the kids and the water is only 10cm deep for a long way out so it felt okay that there were no life jackets. Would love to stay again!

Dog paradise

We spent 4 days in the beautiful cottage nestled amongst the gum trees. What an amazing setting. We took full advantage of sunset drinks by the lake, while our little dog enjoyed running in and out of the vast lake. A definite for faily and friends, we loved it

Different view on the Sunshine Coast

We were really surprised on the diversity of the Sunny Coast only 5 min away from the coastal beach. This property sits next in a quiet area next to a huge inland lake next to Noosa. The house has kept its original charm from old farming days and is surrounded by wildlife. Rob the host was fantastic, he offered us kayaks and activities as well as gave us a run down of the region. We recommend for people who want a quiet getaway and different perspective of the Sunshine Coast.

idyllic cottage stay

The property was lovely and the hosts were friendly and prompt to reply to all communications. The grounds to the property were huge, great for kids and outdoors activities with the family. Although our stay was only 1 night, it was everything we hoped for.

Most people love old Queenslanders! This renovated cottage is located in a semi-rural environment but close to Noosa, Coolum, and Peregian Beach. It will provide you with all you can wish for—a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, etc.

You will share this cottage with 40-60 kangaroos. Enjoy a short walk to Lake.
Weyba, bring a bottle of wine, relax, sit down in one of the comfortable seats. Stunning sunsets, peace and lots of birds.
