Very Loud, Misleading Pictures, Not Worth The Price
Some of the pictures included in the listing were from other properties (depicted rooms/furniture not in this property). Furniture was sparse and low-quality.
More problematic, this is a very noisy area and the building is quite noisy. The walls were very thin and the floor conducted sound well, so we all had trouble sleeping. There was a cat somewhere in the building that we could hear meowing inside the walls. One of the bathrooms had a consistent knocking noise in the walls. Perhaps most problematic, the downstairs renters had a party into the early hours of the morning. I do not know if this property management company rents the units below, but those renters did not abide by the noise policy and it was annoying.
The neighborhood/street noise is also loud, but that was less irritating than the internal noise within the building.
Overall, I would not recommend this property to anyone who is planning to sleep at night while visiting Chicago.
Furthermore, there are steep stairs and no elevator, so if anyone in your group has mobility issues, I would not recommend this property.
