Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! House was comfortable, basically stocked and decently cleaned. Close to so many areas to visit. Beautiful sunsets. Glad there were sitting areas on the stairs for the way back up from the beach! But once was enough. Enjoyed this beautiful area! Six adults and pupper!
Wonderful place to stay with our family!! Clean, spacious with a beautiful view. Greatly enjoyed our morning walks. Ski hills were about a 20 minute drive. Host was quick to communicate. Would definitely enjoy a return visit
Comfortable, quiet home, with beautiful views on a nice sandy/rocky beach and from the platform overlooking the water. As mentioned in description, it’s a hike down the stairs, but the view is stunning. We never saw anyone else on the beach. Nice open main floor, with lovely exposed beams that make the home feel more luxurious than a typical cottage. Well stocked, large kitchen, with lots of seating. Great water pressure and clean bathrooms. Queen beds have mattress toppers and are just ok. Bedding is fine. Bring your own pillows, if you’re picky. Easy instructions for using tv and dvd. Really great fire pit area, but we didn’t have a chance to use it. Pool table has seen better days, but we still had a great time using it. The home could have been a little cleaner. There were some crumbs on the chairs in kitchen and on the floors. There was also sand on the futon couches. Nothing bad enough to dissuade you from staying here, just worth a mention. If you reach out to owner, maybe try texting. I sent a couple of messages through VRBO before we arrived and they were never answered. Could be an issue with VRBO messaging. Overall, great centralized location to lots of up north activities, beautiful views, nice cottage.
Our first trip to Michigan and it was wonderful. The home was perfect. It stated it could sleep 14 & that seems a bit misleading. The children loved the private beach, we all did! We made use of everything.
House was accurately described and well appointed We loved being able to walk down to the beach although the stairs back up were tough. Located close to town and very peaceful.
Lots of great memories for our extended family of five adults and two kids.
Very cozy place with everything you need. Fire pit, grill, pool table, even the record player with tons of records. Close to all winter and summer activities so you can enjoy it all year around. Definitely will be staying there again.

We love the fun retro style of this home too. So glad you enjoyed your stay. It was wonderful having you and you’re welcome back anytime!
Just as advertised. Well stocked with most of the basics. Great private beach access, just gotta get used to the stairs! Really well built stair case and the patio 1/3rd of the way down is a great idea. Would definitely rent this house again.
