Lae Nani 535 - Spectacular Beach Front - Quiet and Private with Bedroom AC & WD

Welcome to our beach front home on the Island of Kauai!

Lae Nani is a beautiful resort located on the east side of Kauai, just south of Kapaa. Our location gives you easy access to the North Shore (Napali Coast) and South Shore (Poipu, Waimea Canyon) and there are lots of food options (restaurants) and shops within walking distance. Grocery stores and other restaurants are within a 5 to 10 minute drive (or a long walk).

This is a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom completely renovated condo on the top floor of a 3-story walk-up building. Our location provides privacy from the other units and makes you feel like you are in your own world. This is one of the few units in this complex with Air Conditioning (bedrooms only).

The master bedroom has a lanai (balcony) and faces the ocean, so you can't get any closer to the sound or view of the ocean. The second bedroom can be made up as two twin beds or one king.

There is a large lanai off the living room with lounge chairs and an outdoor table. The location of the condo means we watch the morning sun rise over the ocean with an amazing 180 degree view. The two Lanais have sun from sunrise until the very late afternoon but the trade winds and a selection of fans maintain comfortable temperatures indoors with air conditioning in the bedrooms to make sure you can sleep well. The kitchen is fully stocked and ready for you should you want to cook your meals at home.

We welcome families, providing lots of games and baby accessories including a portable crib and stroller. There is a large grassy area right out front and the sand is only about 75 feet away where there is a keiki (children's) pool, perfect for little ones to safely explore the ocean. There is a heated pool for use by all Lae Nani guests and we have a closet with beach gear that you are most welcome to use.

We provide free high speed wireless internet and there is television in the living room with cable, which you can also use to access your Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. There is a set of blue tooth speakers you can connect to with your smart phone for music. We have keyless entry into the condo so you don't need to worry about losing a key. Parking is free and secured.

We welcome you as our guests and hope that you will make our condo your home away from home during your visit to the beautiful Garden Island of Kauai.

Please note that this property is in the specially zoned Kauai Vacation Destination Area which specifically provides for vacation rentals and it is operating in compliance with Hawaii's Transient Vacation Rental Laws.

Wendell is an avid kiteboarder, wing foiler and SUP surfer who has found a few secret spots to ride from on Kauai. Shannon is always on the look out for interesting travel opportunities around the world.

Why they chose this property

We looked all over Hawaii for properties and fell in love with Kauai. After looking at a number of properties on Kauai, we walked into Lae Nani 535 and stood dumbfounded by the view. We purchased the property from the original owners who were friends of the developer and who advised them to purchase this specific unit on the basis that it had the best views and the most privacy of any unit in the complex.

What makes this property unique

The East side of Kauai (also known as the Coconut Coast) is unsurpassed in location and access to the rest of the island. The weather here is in between the wet zone (North Shore) and the dry zone (South Shore). Our unit is unique in that both the master bedroom and the living room directly face the ocean and the feeling of privacy from the other units is unsurpassed. The previous owners completed an extensive renovation and we will continue to update and maintain our unit, striving to create a Hawaiian feel with original artwork and restored local furniture.

After touring much of Hawaii, we believe that Lae Nani captures the true Hawaii feel which is represented by the beautiful beach, the lush gardens and the sound of the surf. This particular complex is very peaceful yet is just steps to restaurants, shopping and easy access to both the North Shore and the South Shore. One of the few casual beach bars/restaurants on the Island is the Lava Lava which is a one minute walk from Lae Nani.

Also, helping make Lae Nani so special is an ancient Hawaiian spiritual site (called a Heiau) which is located on the point, in front of the complex. The special nature of this location has been known to the local Hawaiians (Polynesians) for perhaps 1400 years and now we have the honor of being able to experience it and share it respectfully with our guests.
