This property was perfect for our family vacation. With 6 adults and 4 children ages 2 months to 5 years there was so much room we never felt on top of each other. Communication with the host was very simple with a quick response the one time we needed to reach out. We were very pleased with the property and would definitely stay there again.
The property was extremely beautiful. It was close to where we float down the Peshtigo and was within driving distance of a variety of amenities. We would definitely stay here again.
Loved the house! Kitchen well stocked, fire pit and chairs -amazing!Beautiful deck All beds super comfortable and home is updated and gorgeous. Loved the peacefulness of the entire property. Will rent again when in Crivitz.

Beautiful home. Major musty urine smell throughout the home. No central air conditioning but we were able to keep cool with fans working after we bought a few. Internet very slow. No railing or door on basement steps. Not even close to a game room. We found several droppings..we think maybe bat issues due to squeaking at nites. Beds were not as listed. Half receptacles not working in kitchen. My son found arrow with broken broadhead near back fire pit. No washcloths on premises. This place is not even close to being worth what we paid. Yard was not kept up. Pile of rusty metal by fire pit.

Thank you for your feedback.
We’re sorry to hear that our property wasn’t the right fit for your expectations.
Unfortunately the whole Wisconsin smelled like that during your stay due to wild fires in Canada
We understand that you booked your stay a several months before and there was absolutely no way to predict those fires
And we are truly sorry for your experience
Our home is located in a wooded, natural setting, so it’s common to hear wildlife such as squirrels, chipmunks, bats, and other animals outdoors at night. Many guests enjoy this peaceful forest environment, but it’s important to understand that it’s part of staying in a cabin in the woods.
Regarding the temperature, there is no AC listed in our home because it is not working properly the whole time and we did clear that before your arrival. However, we did monitored the home system during your stay through the nest app and confirmed that the air conditioning was operating properly and the house never got over 70F. We also provide fans and an air purifier for our guests comfort.
The internet service is a fiber optic cable that provide 800 Mbps, which is way over the expectations for a isolated home like our, and the access information is provided in the check-in instructions.
The kitchen outlets are protected by a GFCI safety outlet like everywhere else , which someone must triggered and they just needed to be reset by pressing the “Reset” button. This is a standard safety feature and does not indicate that the outlets are malfunctioning. If this had been brought to our attention during your stay, we would have gladly walked you through how to reset it.
We also provide detailed house instructions, including how to dispose of trash. Our property has a designated garbage storage area outside where all trash should be placed until pickup. Unfortunately, the trash was left in the laundry room instead of the designated location.
We take safety and maintenance seriously. Had any of the other concerns been brought to our attention during your stay, we would have appreciated the opportunity to address them immediately.
We strive to accurately describe our property in the listing so guests know what to expect before booking. We wish you the best in finding accommodations that better match your preferences in the future.
The house and property is just beautiful. Large enough to accommodate our family, trucks and trailers. This was our second time staying and will probably be back again
Simeon was so amazing to us. He’s such a sweet and considerate host! His home is awesome too! We had the best time and more than we needed. He left us wanting for nothing and gave us a wedding card and two bottles of wine.
My wife and I enjoyed a lovely weekend at this property and couldn’t be happier with our experience with the owner. The propriety was just as advertised and right on the Snow mobile trails which was import for us. One thing that should not be taken for granted is that this place has like real actual working and functional internet-this is absolutely not the standard for the area. My wife and I have been coming up north for years and one issue we always expect to deal with is terrible wifi service, but this cabin blew me away, it was like having regular high functioning internet!!! This trip was just with my wife and I after our friends had some plans changed, but the cabin could definitely accommodate larger groups. I strongly recommend considering this cabin for an up north get away!
Stayed here for a weekend getaway with friends and the space was perfect! Enjoyed the fire pit and nature-filled location. We spent Saturday tube-floating down the peshtigo river 20 minutes away and this was the perfect relaxing space to come “home” to afterwards! Ping pong table in the basement and crib in the master would have made this a great home to stay in with kids as well.
Our trip north for a friends wedding. This house was a great place for our group to stay with plenty of room for everyone. It rained while we there but we were able to enjoy the cover patio in the back for plenty of seating for everyone. We were able to see plenty of wildlife and if the weather would have been better I am sure we would have used the fire pit. Would highly recommend this property.
The property is very clean and well-kept. The neighborhood is very nice and it is a safe location. There are activities available for both adults and kids at the house, so it was perfect for our family. We had 8 people staying in the house and didn't feel crowded. We had a few questions during out stay and the owner was very quick to respond. This is definitely a great place to stay!
