Summary:
Welcome to your Whistler mountain retreat - a cozy getaway tucked among the evergreens with space for the whole group to relax after a day in the mountains.
- Sleeps 10 | 4 bedrooms | 7 beds | 3.5 baths
- Ski access (Dec-Mar) to Dave Murray trail & Creekside Gondola
- Private hot tub surrounded by forest
- Indoor fireplace & vaulted ceilings
- Kitchen & dining area for group meals
- Free parking garage on premises & self check-in
The Space:
Snow-dusted evergreens surround the chalet as the quiet of Whistler Mountain settles in. Inside, vaulted ceilings and tall windows frame the alpine landscape while soft natural light fills the open living space. After a day on the slopes or trails, the warmth of the indoor fireplace and the calm of the forest outside create a setting that invites you to slow down and unwind.
Living spaces
Cedar and stone accents define the open-concept living area, where comfortable seating and a TV offer a relaxing place to gather. Large picture windows look out toward the mountains and surrounding trees, bringing the alpine scenery indoors. A dedicated workspace with a desk provides a quiet spot for focused moments, while high-speed Wifi keeps you connected throughout your stay.
Kitchen & dining
The kitchen offers a welcoming place to prepare meals and warm drinks after time outdoors. Granite counters and Sub-zero and Miele appliances create a well-equipped cooking space, while the nearby dining area brings everyone together around the table. A breakfast bar adds casual seating for morning coffee or quick bites before heading out for the day.
Sleeping arrangements
This home accommodates up to 10 guests across four bedrooms and a den. The upper level features the primary bedroom with a queen bed, TV, and a private balcony with seating. A den with a twin bunk bed provides a cozy sleeping space for younger guests; while designed as a den and without an external window, it offers privacy and comfort. The main bathroom on this level includes a deep soaker tub, separate glass-enclosed shower, and double vanity.
On the lower level, the second bedroom includes a queen bed and large windows. The third bedroom features two bunk beds and a TV, offering a flexible setup for groups. The fourth bedroom includes a king-split bed, TV, and an ensuite bathroom with a glass-enclosed shower. An additional bathroom on the lower level provides a double vanity and a bathtub with shower.
Outdoor living
The surrounding forest creates a peaceful setting just outside the doors. A patio or balcony with outdoor furniture provides a place to step out for fresh alpine air, while the BBQ grill allows for simple outdoor cooking. Tucked among the evergreens, the private hot tub offers a quiet place to soak and relax after a full day in the mountains.
Convenience & amenities
Practical comforts throughout the home help make longer stays easy and relaxed. A washer and dryer are available in the unit, along with heating for the colder mountain climate. Guests benefit from self check-in with a smart lock, and free parking garage on premises. Safety features include smoke alarms, a carbon monoxide alarm, and a fire extinguisher.
Location & ski access
Set in the Taluswood neighborhood in Whistler’s Creekside area, the chalet sits high on the south side of Whistler Mountain. Ski-in/Ski-out access connects intermediate skiers to the Dave Murray ski trail leading toward the Creekside Gondola, with access typically available from late December through March. Creekside’s shops, restaurants, and gondola are a short drive away, while nearby hiking and biking trails offer opportunities for exploration through the surrounding forest.
With its forest setting, mountain views, and thoughtful spaces for gathering or relaxing, this 2,600 sq ft home provides a comfortable base for experiencing Whistler in all seasons.
Ski access is dependent on weather and snow conditions, and may vary each season. Typically, ski access is available from late December to late March. Our Guest Services team can confirm snow levels before your arrival upon request.
Guest Access:
Guests will have full, private access to the residence, including all bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, and the patio or balcony. A private hot tub is available for your exclusive use. A private garage provides parking for one vehicle. Check-in is contactless, with entry provided via a unique door code. Detailed check-in instructions will be sent prior to arrival.
The Neighborhood:
Taluswood is perched high on Whistler Mountain in the peaceful Nordic neighbourhood, offering a quiet, forested setting with sweeping mountain views. With direct access to ski trails leading to Creekside, it’s ideal for intermediate skiers and snowboarders looking for a true slopeside experience. In summer, guests enjoy nearby hiking and biking trails, along with the serenity of being above the bustle of the village. Due to its secluded location, Taluswood is best suited for guests with a vehicle. While there’s no public transit in the immediate area, Creekside’s shops, restaurants, and gondola are just a short drive away, making it easy to enjoy both nature and convenience.

Whistler Stay
This property far exceeded our expectations. The views were beautiful and the condition of the property was amazing. Highly recommend this property for anyone coming to Whistler no matter the season.
Clean, great communication, lovely home. Close enough to a path where we could ski in and out to creekside slopes. Will be back for next big group trip.
Well thought out house for 3 small families for a ski trip. Kitchen with everything you need!
Super clean house with nice amenities. Could ski to slopes (walk up a pretty steep hill) but doable. Or an easy drive to park at Creekside. Will stay here again!

We're glad to hear you enjoyed your stay at Taluswood The Heights 6, Carrie. Thank you for highlighting the ski access, this is helpful to other guests. We would be happy to welcome you back in the future!
Everything was perfect! This is definitely a 5 star home! It had everything we could ask for and more. The adults loved the hot tub. The kitchen was clean and organized, with everything you could possibly need. The open floor plan on the main level was great with a large den/eating area that comfortably seated all 9 of us. Kudos to the homeowner and property management team for keeping everything so clean and in like new condition! Also, they have provided amenities well beyond most vacation homes. We will definitely be returning to this home for our next trip to Whistler.

It’s especially wonderful to know the home’s cleanliness and thoughtful amenities stood out. We would be delighted to welcome you back on your next visit.

Our rental located in the Nordic Estates was spot on. The house comfortably housed 6 adults. The location is easily accessible to the Village and a short drive to Squamish. We used the house as a base for a MTB trip and having the garage to build bikes was an added plus. I plan on staying in this rental again next year.

Great ski house for multiple families. Well stocked kitchen!!
Great ski out/hike up location (if there is snow). Well thought out house with nice amenities and a kitchen with everything you need! Fun bunk rooms for kids. Quiet neighborhood and heated garage! Great place to store gear and get ready for the ski day. Management company very responsive.
The property was ideal for our family vacation! The kids’ bunk bed room was perfect for our younger kids. Our teenage son stayed in the den bunk bed… which worked great! The beds were super comfortable and the rooms were incredibly quiet / well insulated. The kitchen was well stocked and we spent a lot of time on the deck which had a nice private view. Property mgmt company was very responsive and helpful. We’ll be back!!

Hi Kendra,
Thank you so much for your kind review.
We too love the bunk room in this property, and the privacy! I'm glad you managed to enjoy the deck in the sunshine we have had lately.
We do hope to welcome you back again soon!

This property was awesome. Lots of space, nice open floor plan, great view of the slopes and a short walk down the street to grab a trail to Dave Murray downhill (not too technical for intermediate skiers from drop-in). There heated garage was away with the ski rack and glove / boot rack. Easy and warm to dress and undress from the slopes. Management was very attentive to our needs with multiple check-ins to see that our stay was satisfactory.

Very happy and highly recommended!
We were extremely happy with our stay at Taluswood 6 and thrilled to find so many top notch kitchen facilities and equipment which were perfect for our big group as we cooked dinner easily and happily almost every night during our stay. The house provided everything we needed comfortably and was a haven for our group to relax and enjoy the evenings together. Our group of 15 fit happily in the dining and living rooms for dinner and the house provided everything we needed for cooking.
Bedrooms and bathrooms were very well appointed and hot water pressure was spot on. The hot tub was also much appreciated and an enjoyable activity for our after ski afternoons.
We would highly recommend this property to any visiting groups and we were very happy with our stay here.
This property has it all - completely renovated, modern appliances and furnishings, beautiful views, warm fireplace, cozy hot tub, Ski in/out access, and a very responsive host company. This was probably one of the best vacation rentals that we have ever stayed at and would highly recommend this property.
The house is beautiful and well designed. It overlooks the run where the Olympic downhill races ended as well as several snow capped mountains. The property manager was outstanding. Our only issue was that there is no ac. The highs were in the mid 90s during our visit and while the shade from the trees helped it was unpleasant during the late afternoon.
Spectacular dwelling tucked up in the mountain, just outside Whistler. Great place to unwind after a long summer day of hiking and site seeing.

Beautiful location and house
This was our first time to the Whistler area and this home delivered. Beautifully furnished and layout very accommodating for more than one family to stay and not feel on top of each other. Views are magnificent, even saw some bears playing on the mountainside. Kitchen is well stocked and guest service was quick to respond to an issue with the hot tub. Only gave 4 stars for location d/ distance from Creekside area and Whistler Village - this was hard to appreciate when making the reservations. Creekside is a 5 minute drive and Village is a 7-10 minute drive and likely an easy bike ride to both areas, but would be very challenging on the way back as this beautiful home is at the top of a fairly long climb. This didn\'t detract from our stay at all, but if you are looking for something that is more centrally located and can be accessed on foot or bike, this is not the ideal spot. We ziplined out of Whistler Village between Whistler and Blackcomb - awesome experience. Also, went to Squamish and took the gondola to the top near Shannon Falls and spent the day hiking- beautiful vistas.

Dream Home - True Ski-In, Ski-Out
We were completely obsessed with this home and its amazing design, amenities, and layout. This truly felt like a dream vacation home with the upgraded appliances, high-quality decor, and thoughtful details like local artwork. This is a TRUE ski-in, ski-out that makes mountain time so convenient and accessible. Our family cannot wait to come back again and stay here next year!
Great location and a beautiful property. Very quiet and surrounded by trees. Absolutely loved this place! Ski in and ski out was easy to find and only 1 min from door to trail. Thanks for the great ski vacation!
