Snow settles quietly along the edge of Alta Lake, and the mountains rise still and white beyond your windows. After a day on the slopes, you return to warmth - boots drying in the garage, a fire glowing inside, and the lake resting just beyond the trees. Mornings begin slowly here, with soft winter light and coffee shared before the day unfolds.
Sleeping arrangements
Upstairs, the primary bedroom offers a king bed, stone fireplace, TV, and a private deck overlooking the lake. Its ensuite includes a bathtub, glass-enclosed rain shower, and double vanity, creating a comfortable space to unwind. The second bedroom features a king bed and walk-out deck, with an adjoining bathroom that includes a bathtub and shower combo. In the third bedroom, a king-split bed can be arranged as a king or 2 singles, with a nearby bathroom equipped with a glass shower and single vanity. A powder room on the main level adds convenience for shared living.
Kitchen & dining
The kitchen is designed for gathering, with a gas cooktop, center island, and ample space to prepare meals together. A dining table for six anchors the space, complemented by additional seating at the breakfast bar. Whether you’re warming up after time outdoors or enjoying a relaxed evening in, the layout keeps everyone connected. The home includes a fully equipped kitchen, dining table, and BBQ grill for flexible meal options.
Indoor spaces
A three-sided stone fireplace anchors the main lounge, where vaulted ceilings and expansive windows frame winter views of the lake and surrounding peaks. Retractable glass doors open to the patio, though in colder months the true highlight is the indoor fireplace and the inviting den/media room with a large TV and comfortable seating for movie nights. Desks on both levels provide a dedicated workspace, supported by Wifi for those balancing work with mountain time. Heating keeps the home comfortable throughout the season.
Outdoor setting
Lakeside Park sits just below the residence, with lake access via the Valley Trail. Even in winter, peaceful walks along the shoreline offer a quiet connection to Whistler’s natural surroundings. The nearby routes link toward Whistler Village and Creekside, while the lifts are a short drive away.

Unit was beautiful and well equipped. Beds were very comfortable. Parking was limited and not as described. At check-in was told garage was small and if two vehicles didn’t fit we’d have to pay for parking off site due to no on street parking in neighborhood. Most of our stay a van and car parked partially blocking access to the garage. When reported to management company they said they’d try to have it moved but nothing happened. Disappointing since they made such an issue about us having two vehicles in a two car garage.

Hi Audrey, thank you for choosing Lakecrest 8 for your Whistler stay, and for sharing your feedback. I’m glad the unit worked well for you and that you found the beds comfortable.
I’m very sorry the parking situation was frustrating, and that we weren’t able to resolve the blocked garage during your stay. We are following up with with the strata and internally with our team . While the garage dimensions are noted in our listing, we’ll also review our check-in instructions and wording to ensure the size restrictions are as clear as possible.
Thank you again for the helpful feedback, and we hope to welcome you back to Whistler in the future.
Kind regards,
Whistler Platinum

Perfect
Beautiful, clean, high end appliances, perfect stay
Loved staying here. The home was beautiful and the location close to the lake and Valley Trail was perfect. The hot water tank broke during our stay and Whistler Platinum did a great job of providing us with options and getting it fixed as quickly as possible. I would definitely stay again.
We stayed at Lakecrest during a spontaneous family break - everything was seamless from reservations, contact with Whistler Platinum, pre-arrival, to check in.
The house itself was great for a ski-family and is well equipped throughout; plenty of space for kids and adults.
Thank you for your five-star review, Thomas! We’re pleased Lakecrest 8 met your expectations and that you enjoyed your stay. We appreciate you taking the time to share feedback and look forward to welcoming you back on a future visit.
Warm regards,
Whistler Platinum
