This is a lovely place - the view from the living room windows is gorgeous. It was so much fun walking along the beach and sitting by the fire. Our dogs had a great time too!! The only difficulty we had was coming in the dark and having a hard time locating the exact spot to turn in. Also the water wasn't hooked up to the tub/shower in bathroom 2. My husband had a hard time figuring out the TV but our granddaughter visited and she figured it out right away. We. Love the area and hope to return.

WritingWe had a wonderful stay! The home was very clean, spacious, and exactly as described. One of our favorite features was the beautiful lake view from the backyard, along with the relaxing sound of the waves along the shore. It made for such a peaceful and enjoyable getaway.The home was well-appointed with everything we needed, and the thoughtful little goodie bag of assorted items waiting for us was a nice touch. We especially appreciated that the home was pet-friendly, as we travel everywhere with our dog. It’s always a bonus to find a place where our furry family member is welcome, too! The king-sized bed was soft and comfortable, and the host responded to my questions within a reasonable time frame.One helpful tip for future guests: bring flip-flops for the shower! The pebbled shower floor is literally like standing on rocks, so it may not be the most comfortable experience for everyone.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the cleanliness, comfort, thoughtful touches, and beautiful lakeside setting. It was a lovely place to unwind, and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway, especially those traveling with their pets!

The cabin was incredible! It felt like luxury while also being at a wooded camping cabin on the beach. Perfect combo of beach, woods and comfort. Everything you can think of and more was provided and it was very comfortable for our family of 5. The view from the windows was beyond amazing!!!! We watched the hummingbirds daily and even got to see the bald eagle a few times. We had fires by the beach every night and family dinners at the dining table too. It was great. The beach is not great for long walks as it turns a bit marshy about half a mile down in both directions, but we are from west Michigan and are very spoiled with Holland state park as our usual beach, so we are very picky about our beaches, most people would’ve been overjoyed with the beach that this cabin provides. All in all we were very happy with our vacation here, very relaxing and wonderful family time.

Cindy thank you for this exuberant review! Cedar Cabin on the Bay is the perfect get away property. It sleeps 6 and is dog friendly. It's lakefront on Lake Michigan's Green Bay and is a true log cabin. There is a wood burning stove and a fire pit for guest's pleasure. It also has great swimming.

Family Getaway

Everything was great nice and relaxing. Beach is perfect knee deep 50' from shore so kids had a blast and it makes it relatively worry free.

Nice Waterfront Cottage

Overall, the cottage was very nice and clean and the location is hard to beat. The lake being right there and being able to wade out to waist area 100 yards into the water was great.

Awesome stay!

Our family had an amazing time at this cabin right on Lake Michigan! The place was off the main road set back in the woods and right in the water which allowed for privacy. Loved that this cabin was pet friendly and very clean, organized and beautiful! Thank you for our stay and helping us to make awesome summer memories!

We hade a little problem with one of the beds, they fixed it right away. Wonderful place if you have kids my kids hade a blast time in the sand and lake. I recomend this resident, definitely will be back 😁

Lovely Anniversary Trip

We thoroughly enjoyed our cabin experience ... a long weekend for our anniversary. The location and beach are beautiful ... looking out at the moon over the water. The bed is very comfortable and snug. We enjoyed fires in the evening and cooked delicious meals in the well stocked kitchen. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Fantastic location log cabin with open great room

Loved the short walk out the back door to the firepit and ‘private’ beach and warm shallow water. Grilled outside every night. Nicely appointed kitchen for an older home.

Great family getaway with small kids

We stayed with three boys (2, 5 and 8) and our dog in mid summer. The house was roomy and comfortable. The beach was fantastic and the shallow water was kind of perfect for the whole family. We just settled into the rhythm of being on the beach - swimming, playing in the sand, making a campfire and grilling.

A Family Retreat

The property was a great and relaxing destination for our family. Very accommodating for five adults and one dog, the property offered all amenities we needed and provided comfortable sleeping quarters. The weather was a bit cooler, so we utilized the fire pit and comfy outdoor chairs. Aside from the mayflies, the property host was responsive to our questions and provided all necessary information in advance of our arrival. Would book again!

Getaway in UP Michigan

My wife and I and hounds loved our stay. Cabin was very clean and exactly as described. Super comfortable bed and well stocked kitchen. Both bathrooms were newly renovated…wish I could take home with me!!! Setting is very private and nothing compares to that fire pit on the lake. Highly recommend R&J from NC mountains
