We had three families totaling 17 people stay for the week. We had a great time! The house was clean and well appointed for everything we wanted to do. They provided a charcoal grill and a nice solo stove fire pit that we used daily. We caught fish from the dock and were able to dock our boat there all week. The leaks is gray for boating and fishing. We enjoyed kayaking through the creek out to Lake Michigan. There were a couple of minor issues but the local contact was quick to respond and came out ASAP to fix the issue.

Great get away
The home was very nice and welcoming. The home was nicely furnished and well equipped. We did not experience any issues with the home. However, if I were to make any recommendations, it would be for some window treatments on the first floor. There were none and therefore no privacy from the neighbors that share the driveway.
We also had also inquired as to a later check out. However, the homeowner was not able to communicate with the cleaning crew to verify. We were hoping since it is somewhat the off season and no immediate rental to follow we could have had a noon checkout.
Overall a nice home for a weekend get away.
This property is great for bringing the family together. I missed that there was no wifi/cable but it actually helped us connect with each other and play games. There is a DVD player and somehow there was something for all to enjoy. Serene and peace was what we wanted and it is definitely what we got! We even purchased a DVD for future families/friends to enjoy. The furniture is slightly dated but it somehow added to the coziness of the home. We had a great time!
Beautiful house. Lake is perfect for fishing, tubing, kayaking. Love they in connects to Lake Michigan. Negative-sprinklers constantly going off, weeds in wager directly In front or house making swim difficult. No easy access into water to swim with ledge in front yard.
One of the better stays we have had at a property. the House was clean and well kept. Lots of activities to do around the area and a short distance to Lake Michigan close to Silver Lake Sand Dunes
The best part was the location. There were so many things to do-blueberry picking, Silver Lake Dunes, golfing, loved kayaking through channel to Lake Michigan(brought our own), ice cream, playground, walking. House was very open and loved the big kitchen.

Not what we expected.
The open floor plan was great for our large group, and the location was ideal with close proximity to Lake Michigan and Silver Lake. We felt that the pictures were deceptive as they showed a sandy beach area did not exist. With 15 people we were planning to have the kids use the outdoor shower, however it did not work. When I called, we were told someone would come out to fix it. No one came, so we had only 2 showers for our large group. The grill was not large enough to fit 15 steaks, which made meal prep difficult, and the grates were disgusting and beyond cleaning. There was a fire pit but had only 2 chairs available for our group.
If you say your home has living quarters large enough for 16, provide chairs and eating spaces for all. Two of the bedrooms need curtains or blinds on the windows; there was NO privacy. Finally I understand the need to water grass but it went from 11pm until noon the next day, so the grandkids could not play outside and everything was wet all morning long.
Beautiful home with an amazing view.
The property manager was easy to get a hold of.
The only hiccups were lack of toilet paper and no garbage bin outside to place the trash bags.
Our group of 6 adults and 5 kids had a great stay at this property! The rental process was really easy and the owner was very responsive and accommodating to our needs, which we really appreciated! The house is very spacious, comfortable, has a great open floor concept and the views of the lake and surrounding trees are beautiful! We also really liked the location, we were able to go hiking at a beautiful trail and enjoy a nearby indoor waterpark. We had a great stay!
