About this property

Maine’s Great Getaway!!!!

Beautiful home located on private lot with many outdoor activities. Soak up the nature of Maine in this great home located just steps away from the public landing on a very peaceful lake. Enjoy your days fishing, kayaking, swimming, or just relaxing on the lake with a book. If you enjoy ATV’s this is the home for you with access to many trails throughout Northern and Downeast Maine.

Our cabin is approx. a 45 minute ride to Acadia National Park. Schoodic Point in Winter Harbor is approx. a 30 minute ride; which is similar to Acadia National Park but not so crowded. Both are very beautiful, with many options and hiking trails.

There is a great fire pit outside where you can sit and enjoy the summer nights. Also a grill and picnic table is available for outdoor eating.
The cabin has four kayaks available with life jackets.

Wonderful Experience

D was a great host! Super responsive and easy to work with. The cabin was great—clean, comfortable, everything well maintained. We loved having the fire pit and kayaks! We were there to visit Acadia National Park primarily— the cabin was located a little further from the park then we would’ve liked (a little over an hour) but we were still very happy with our experience there!

Very nice Rental

This rental is very clean, and very nice. Located about 40 minutes from Bangor. And 1 hour from Bar harbor. The pond is nice, if you want to fish you should probably have a boat or use the kayaks provided. Deanna is very prompt when I messaged her, And answered all questions and gave us some tips. Would recommend this rental if you want peace and quiet and don’t have a problem with driving.

Beautiful cabin!

We had a great time relaxing in this beautiful cabin. The area is beautiful, quiet, and peaceful. We were looking for some quiet time and hoping to avoid large crowds, and we were often the only ones on the lake even though it was August! We went with two teenager girls so having 4 kayaks was great! We had to arrive very late, but the owner still met us and explained everything on arrival. It was very clean, was just enough space, and had everything we needed. The beds were comfy too! Overall great experience!
