​Hurricane Update:

The entire complex is built on pillars more than 20 feet off the ground. The condo sustained no damage, we have been accepting guests for several weeks, the pool has been completely drained, acid washed, refilled and we have installed a new pump, a new filter and all new equipment. The pool has never looked better, the beaches are open, the restaurants are open and the weather is fantastic.

First, though, let’s talk about the water. After all, when you come to the beach, you want to be at the beach. Bay Watch Bungalow—like Anna Maria Island itself—is entirely surrounded by water.

In fact, every single room at the condo has a water view. Slide open the glass doors to the north balcony with your favorite beverage and take in a particularly lovely view of both the Gulf of Mexico and Florida's Intracoastal Waterway where you will also find your own private grill the only condo in the complex offering the amenity.

A second balcony faces south with a view of the complex’s sparkling, heated pool. Want to be even closer to the water? At Bay Watch Bungalow, you also have complimentary access to the boat/fishing dock, so you can spend the day boating the Gulf or fishing its dazzling aquamarine waters.

We almost forgot to mention this is where the dolphins love to hangout at and entertain you. The beach itself is a one-minute stroll away, via a brick path.

After an afternoon of sunbathing on the beach, step into your cool, open condo. Tile floors soothe your bare feet and comfortable furnishings invite you to sit down and relax in the A/C. OTHER EXPERIENCES NOT TO MISS AT THE BAY WATCH BUNGALOW.

Wake up refreshed in either a California King or Queen bed, both with brand-new mattresses and mattress toppers. The guest room also offers a queen and twin bed; great for keeping little ones close. Brew a coffee or espresso in the kitchen, then head to the north balcony to watch a spectacular sunrise over the Bay.



Get ready for the day in two full, pristine bathrooms. Spend the morning on a stroll in the sun. Choose between a walk on the beach or perusing the nearby beach/gif/shell shops for that perfect souvenir. Walk to the end of Bridge St. Pier and tuck into a plate of oysters at the Anna Maria Island Oyster Bar for lunch.

All of this is easily accessible on foot from the condo! Swim in the Gulf's always-warm waters, sunbathe on the beach, or take a dip in the Bay Watch Bungalow's in-ground heated pool. The south balcony at the condo faces the pool, so you can keep an eye on the kids while they swim.

Grab dinner ingredients at the island's grocery—or the Walmart a 10-minute drive away on the mainland—and craft a meal in the full kitchen, which includes cabinets stocked with brand-new cookware and dishes. Load the dishwasher then head back to the balcony.

As evening falls, another lovely view awaits to close the day: watch the mainland's lights and boats sailing on the bay under the moonlight. WHAT’S NEW FOR YOUR STAY.
