Great accommodations for our family of 4 and 2 dogs. Wonderful location close to a perfect sandy beach! Close to town but also private enough it felt quaint. We enjoyed using the well-stocked kitchen for some meals and relaxed on a gloomy day at the table playing cards.

The cottage had a charming and laid-back Beaver Island vibe. My family (2 adults and 2 teens) enjoyed the kayaks and appreciated that life vests were provided by the homeowner. The public beach is a short 2-minute walk down the road from the house.This was a very well appointed VRBO - there were many thoughtful details, even for those traveling with small kids. The kitchen was large and has a dishwasher, which is a nice amenity.Overall, we enjoyed our time at the cottage and our two dogs were very comfortable there as well. Thank you to our hosts for having us! We would come back again.

Great view short walk to beach

We enjoyed our stay very much, awesome lake view from house, beach is a short walk away, and it was sandy, very shallow water with sand bars , excellent for small kids.

A nice week away from the monotony.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It had a beautiful view of the lake and was a great place to look at the stars. It was thoughtfully furnished with a well stocked kitchen.

Great beach access on Beaver Island

We had a lovely time soaking in Beaver Island from this comfortable retreat. The beach access is very easy and was nearly private even though we were there in August. Definite recommend!

Perfect getaway!

This was our second time staying at Christine’s cottage and we had the best time! Everything you need for a wonderful, relaxing time is at this cozy place. We can’t wait to go back again-we miss the island already!

Fantastic Get Away Outside of Town

The house has everything you need to have a wonderful stay on the island. The kitchen is fantastic to cook in and the space is laid out really well. The owner is very responsive and a pleasure to rent from. This rental is a winner!

We had a great stay! We are regulars for Beaver Island and were displaced from our cottage due to storm damage and this property was a great reflection of the island and everything it has to offer. I do want to mention that while it is pet friendly, pets aren’t allowed on the furniture(understandable as the couches and chairs in the living room are leather). Photos of our dog enjoying his stay for fun :)

Our third trip to the island and third stay at the cabin, perfection! Our kids, the in-laws and pup LOVE this cabin, it’s become a second home for us. We have become so smitten with Beaver Island we are planning more frequent trips. The house has everything you need and more, and if you can find it, the local grocery store is well stocked! Thank you for the memories.

Perfect Quiet Spot

We had everything we needed and then some. The view of the lake was amazing. We would walk down the short way to enjoy our morning coffee with the waves and gulls. The kitchen was amazing to cook in. Beds were super comfy. We loved it and will be back.

Beautiful Haven

We are a little bias, as our parents owned the home for 30 yrs. Best beach on the island. Everything you need is at the cabin. Loved all the games for the kids. Beautiful paradise.
