Ice Fishing Get Away

Our family really enjoyed our winter get away at Georgetown Lake. The cabin had ample room for our group of five. We prepared nice meals in the well-appointed open kitchen. The view from the kitchen and living room is spectacular. Our trip ended up being during the middle of a -25 below zero cold snap but not even a cool draft in this well-designed mountain retreat. We bought our ice fishing equipment and had a blast catching Rainbow and a few bonus brook trout. Amazing place and fantastic hosts. Looking forward to a return trip! Five Stars

Easy to relax in this home!

Our group of friends and family enjoyed a quiet Thanksgiving weekend... lots of puzzling, knitting, and long walks. We built fires every day, which was such a treat. For those of us who needed more light in the evenings, a couple of floor or table lamps in the living room area, and reading lamps in all bedrooms (both sides of the bed) would be a great addition! If you are a knitter with aging eyes, bring a headlamp :) Oh, and be careful on the front patio and driveway... there are a couple of spots that got really icy and slick where water came off the roof. Overall, very cozy and lovely home - we hope to return! Thanks May!

Winter Wonderland Get Away

This incredible home offers breathtaking views from sunrise to sunset. Perched above the lake just minutes from snowmobiling, ice fishing, snowshoeing, or skiing at Discovery, you can warm up and relax next to the woodstove. The style and architecture is calming and beautiful. The kitchen is fully equipped and perfect for large meals or snacking. Downstairs provides a great second living area for kids. Cozy beds, fresh linens and comfort around every corner. May is an incredible host and this vacation rental is one of the best we have every stayed in. Highly recommend!

Nice location and view of Georgetown Lake.

Home had plenty of room. It was well stocked with things we needed, except no dish clothes and in need of new wash cloths. Oven and oven hood needed to be cleaned. Oven started smoking when we turned it on. Overall I great mountain home to rent.

We recently discovered this spectacular area of Georgetown Lake. It's central to all the best adventures Montana has to offer. We enjoy skiing, hiking, fishing and mountain biking year round. Georgetown Lake and nearby river adventures include boating, fly fishing and swimming. A variety of annual events in nearby Montana towns are fun to explore.

What makes this property unique

🟡Sleeping/bath accommodations:
This home sleeps 8 comfortably- The master bedroom has modern furnishings with a queen bed, walk-in closet and an ensuite that includes a double vanity and a large walk-in shower. The second bedroom sits off a quiet reading area on the lower level. The third bedroom offers a twin over a double bunk bed located next to the kid friendly living area. These bedrooms can easily access the 2nd full bath with soaker tub. Extra sleeping areas include a sleeping loft with 2 twins (accessible by a ladder) and a pull-out couch located in a reading area.
🟡Living/TV areas:
The comfortable living room has a fantastic mountain view and a Danish wood stove. The upstairs living area suits visiting, watching movies or reading in front of the wood stove while kids can occupy space to play video/board games. Both areas can enjoy TV & surround sound serviced by Dish and Wi-Fi.
🟡Kitchen/dining area:
The kitchen sits in the center of the home for easy/fun preparation and serving your guests. The custom cabinets & extensive counters include a gas range, french-door fridge, microwave & dishwasher. Dining areas include a large breakfast counter with 5 bar stools and a dining table that comfortably sits 8.
🟡Outside area:
The 2 outside areas are suited for visiting friends and family. the lower covered patio offers stunning views, surround sound and a 5 person hot tub. The upper area offers a large built-in grill with a rotisserie and patio. The heated garage is available for parking 2 vehicles and space for outdoor equipment. Parking area for trailers, boats and other vehicles is also available.
