**NOTE:**
BEACH / TRAIL ENHANCEMENT PROJECT
The city is currently enhancing the trail at the base of the path in front of the property, so this access point is temporarily inaccessible. Rates are discounted as such. The alternate route is only an 8-minute walk to the trail/beach.
Everything else remains unchanged—Lounge indoors in your tastefully designed space, enjoy your morning coffee on the deck with the sound of the waves, or grill on the BBQ as the sun dips into the sea.
In the meantime, WALKING access to the beach and beach trail is available through several nearby entry points. The Linda Lane Beach access point, just a leisurely 8-minute walk away, is a guest favorite—and for good reason. This route offers a gentler, less steep path to the sand and trail, and places you even closer to the pier and the iconic Fisherman’s Restaurant, making it a convenient alternative.
NEIGHBORHOOD
Located in a charming neighborhood just north of the pier, this unit offers a beautiful retreat away from the noise and congestion of the Pier Bowl and downtown. Here, you’ll easily blend in with the locals, while still being just a short walk to the downtown boutiques, restaurants, coffee houses and cafes, anytime you like. A convenient neighborhood market, San Clemente Ranch Market, is just a short walk away for quick essentials; Ralphs is a full-size market for heavier loads, and is a few minute's drive into town.
SPACE
Unwind on your private deck with a peek-a-boo ocean view while BBQing, or relax indoors in a bright, open space designed for both comfort and style. The unit features two smart TVs, King Bed, white leather sofa, fire place, sliding barn doors, and a built-in desk area—blending modern design with coastal charm. Ceiling and portable fans keep the rooms cool and comfortable throughout your stay.
KITCHEN
The well-appointed kitchen includes cookware, dishwasher, microwave, drip coffee maker/filters, paper and cooking towels, a variety of spices, food storage supplies, plentiful counter space and a large dining table—everything you need to prepare and enjoy meals.
BEDROOM
The bedroom is designed for comfort and ease, featuring blackout curtains so you can sleep in peacefully, and direct access to the bathroom for added convenience. A built-in desk area provides a handy spot for work or planning your day, while a large closet, luggage racks, and full-length mirrors make it easy to stay organized and look your best. Each side of the king bed includes a nightstand and reading light, and also ports for charging devices overnight. After a day at the beach, wrap up in soft white robes and unwind by the fireplace, or lounge out on the deck listening to the ocean.
BATH
The bathroom combines style and function, featuring white pebble floors, an easy walk-in shower, and a lighted, magnified mirror that makes it simple to get ready with precision.
COMPLIMENTARY LAUNDRY
Our complimentary on-site laundry is just a quick 3-second stroll from your front door, with two washers and two dryers that are almost always available - plus free detergent - so you can keep your clothes and towels feeling fresh all vacation long. While we don’t offer daily housekeeping, you’re welcome to toss in a load whenever you like. If you prefer, we can happily arrange housekeeping during your stay for an additional fee.
THE BEACH - Please refer to the note at the top regarding beach/trail access

Perfect for sunbathing, people watching, relaxing, reading, swimming, surfing, body boarding, fishing and stand-up-paddling. The wave breaks over a small reef in front, and is typically best for surfing at a medium tide rising high. There are many other surf breaks within a very short walking distance, including T-Street Beach. World-class surfing at San-O & Trestles, which is officially the home of the 2028 Olympic surf contest, is just a 10-minute drive south. At low tide, the reef in front reveals star fish, sea anemones, sea urchins, muscles, snails, etc.
SHOPPING AND RESTAURANTS
Just a few blocks, you’ll find our charming downtown area filled with stylish boutiques, surf shops, antique stores, and a diverse range of local and international dining options. Every Sunday, the Farmer’s Market brings the community together with stalls featuring unique souvenirs, local art, and freshly harvested organic fruits, vegetables, and herbs. A short stroll will take you to the pier, where you can soak up the sun and ocean breeze, try your hand at fishing, or unwind with a meal at the beloved Fisherman’s Restaurant.
WHY SAN CLEMENTE VS OTHER LOCATIONS?
Many travelers fall in love with San Clemente’s quaint, small-town charm - the kind that’s hard to find in nearby coastal cities. Unlike the busier scenes of Dana Point and Laguna Beach, San Clemente has a true heart and soul, where you can stroll to local shops, grab dinner at family-owned restaurants, and actually feel part of the community. Dana Point, Laguna Beach & San Juan Capistrano are just a few minutes’ drive away, perfect for day trips to explore their attractions. After, head back to San Clemente to unwind in a more relaxed, authentic, small beach-town atmosphere.
DAILY ADVENTURES NEARBY
San Clemente enjoys a perfect location halfway between San Diego and Los Angeles—each about an hour’s drive away. Disneyland is just 30 minutes up the road, making day trips to these iconic destinations easy and convenient. Both cities are accessible via a short walk to the train station, so you can explore during the day and return home for a refreshing swim.
• Popular theme parks such as Disneyland, SeaWorld, the San Diego Zoo, Knott’s Berry Farm, and Legoland are all within an hour’s drive.
• San Clemente’s newly opened Aquatic Center features an Olympic-sized pool and a fun “Aquatic Playground” designed especially for children.
• Dana Point Harbor, just a 10-minute drive north, offers a variety of shopping, dining, and deep-sea fishing opportunities. You can also rent kayaks, jet skis, and sailboats, or take a scenic boat ride to Catalina Island—be sure to book tickets well in advance, especially during summer.
• Nearby Laguna Beach is famous for its stunning coastline, vibrant galleries, art festivals, and the annual Pageant of the Masters held in July.
• Big Bear Ski Resort is a two-hour drive away, making it a perfect destination for a day trip or overnight getaway.
• For a relaxed coastal journey, hop on the “Surfliner Amtrak” train from the pier and enjoy a scenic, one-hour ride to San Diego, Del Mar Race Track, or Petco Park. Heading north, you can reach Angel Stadium with ease.
• Day-trip to Temecula’s Wine country.
• Explore historical San Juan Capistrano’s Mission; a 10 minute’s drive north
