Beautiful Harbor Home with Ocean Views

Our Dock View vacation home is the perfect place to enjoy a true Maine experience. Across the street from the historic Boothbay Shipyard, and beyond that, the harbor, this three bedroom home is near enough to the Boothbay Harbor's town center to walk and enjoy all that the Harbor offers while still affording a tranquil place to relax. Built in the 1950's by a shipbuilder, Dock View boasts a comfortable, well lit living room, a beautiful appointed dining area and fully equipped kitchen for all you dining needs. The two-story home has three bedrooms, and sleeps up to six and is both children and pet friendly. The center staircase leads to two upstairs bedrooms feature king beds, with plenty of natural light and large window seats. The third bedroom, on the first floor has a queen bed. All beds are luxury firm and feature hotel quality linens from the Comphy Company. Two full baths, one per floor, have tub shower combinations-- the bathroom on the second floor has a double vanity and a full-size washing machine and dryer. Enjoy the natural beauty of Maine with the outdoor stone patio and dining area, complete with a six burner gas grill. Dock View is a year round home and can be enjoyed in any season, from Spring Tulips to New Year's Eve.

Beautiful home

We really enjoyed staying in this lovely home for Thanksgiving weekend. Communication with the owners was so easy and we had all the info we needed for our stay. The location was perfect with beautiful views of the water. The house was clean and cozy. The furnishing and decore in the bedrooms and living spaces were nicely updated. The beds were very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location

We took our family vacation to Boothbay Harbor & chose the Dock View property. As soon as it was booked, mark reached out to me. He was so nice & provided valuable information. I was pleased from the get go with the attentiveness given. The property was amazing & the view was so lovely. We had everything we needed & if we didn’t Mark was available to help out. We could walk into town every day which was so convenient. It happened to be the Windjammers Festival so there was lots to see & do. I highly recommend staying at the Dock View. You won’t be disappointed!

Great Vacation

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience with renting this property. It was beautiful! The location was perfect! Being across from the harbor and down the street from shops and restaurants, we could walk to everything. The patio was beautifully landscaped. We loved sitting outside looking at the boats in the harbor. The house itself was fully stocked with everything you would need and it was decorated so tastefully. We loved the window seats in the bedroom. The bonus for us was that we were able to bring our furry member of the family. Plus we found that many of the restaurants in the area were pet friendly, if they had outdoor seating. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. Sorry to leave!

Amazing place to stay!

I cannot believe how lucky I got by booking this gorgeous place for the days we needed for our trip! My family and I were absolutely in love with this place. The house had everything we needed and more. The owners were so welcoming and made sure to check on us. You get a great view of the harbor from the house. It is located close to all the shops in town so parking was never an issue. My kids all loved this place and were very sad to leave. We may have to come back again! Thank you!

Fall in the Harbor

This house was both cute and comfortable during the first snowfall of the year. The kitchen has everything your heart could desire including a stand mixer. The living room is comfortable and the dining room was set for dinner. The owners were helpful and available. I had a great stay!

We have four rental homes in the area as part of the Boothbay Vacation Home portfolio; “Dock View” and ‘The Boathouse” are in the downtown area, “Water’s Edge Cottage” is on Linekin Bay and “The Lake House” is located on West Harbor Pond. We are very fortunate to be able to live and work is such an incredibly beautiful area and we are here to answer any questions and help our guests plan a fun and relaxing vacation in mid-coast Maine. Why they chose this property

We have all stayed in 'rental properties' that feel like rental properties; minimal kitchen equipment, 1 pot, 1 pan, 8 plates, 8 knives, forks and spoons, sparsely furnished rooms and bathrooms, and art from HomeGoods (I do like HomeGoods). This is not what you will find at our properties. We have lived in three of the four homes and have outfitted and furnished these homes completely. You will feel like you are staying at a friend’s home who happens to be away. The art work is real, the furniture is high quality and we use the same high-end linens we use at our five-star hotel. We have had guests cook Thanksgiving dinner at our homes and we very happy to find everything they needed. And, if something is missing, we are there to take care of it for you.
