## The Home
This former summer manor offers a unique blend of history, character, comfort, and modern amenities. With four levels of living space, guests can gather together in the home’s common areas while still having room to spread out and enjoy privacy.
The covered back deck is a favorite place for morning coffee, meals, and evenings overlooking the water. On clear days and nights, you may even see the distant shoreline and lights of Provincetown across Cape Cod Bay.
Local history suggests that President Woodrow Wilson may have visited or stayed at the estate during the early 1900s.
## Pool, Hot Tub & Outdoor Amenities
### Seasonal Heated Pool
The pool is typically open from mid-May through mid-October. It is generally heated to approximately 70°F during the cooler shoulder seasons and approximately 78°F during the warmer summer season.
Higher pool temperatures may be available for an additional fee, depending on the outside temperature, requested temperature, length of stay, and heating conditions.
### Year-Round Hot Tub
The outdoor hot tub is available throughout the year. It is a wonderful place to relax after exploring Plymouth, but guests must keep voices and activity especially quiet after 10:00 PM because sound can carry throughout the neighborhood.
The property also includes a large yard, fire pit, covered porch, outdoor grill, and several areas for guests to gather and enjoy the coastal setting.
Trash pickup, landscaping, pool service, hot tub service, and general property maintenance may occur during your stay.
## An Outstanding Plymouth Location
The home is approximately one mile from downtown Plymouth and Plymouth Beach, making it easy to experience the area without spending your vacation driving long distances.
The beach can be reached by walking along the sidewalk. Seasonal parking may also be available for approximately $15, although many guests prefer to walk, arrange drop-offs, or use a rideshare service during busy summer days.
Nearby attractions and activities include:
* Plymouth waterfront restaurants and shops
* Plymouth Beach
* Whale-watching cruises
* Deep-sea fishing charters
* Historic museums and landmarks
* Plimoth Patuxet Museums
* Plymouth Rock and the Mayflower II
* Ferries to Provincetown
* Local breweries, restaurants, and nightlife
* Catered lobster bakes and private dining services
For additional beach options, Scusset Beach State Reservation is approximately 15 minutes away and offers a larger sandy beach with seasonal facilities and vendors. Ellisville Harbor State Park provides a quieter and more scenic coastal experience.
One of our favorite day trips is taking the ferry from Plymouth to Provincetown to enjoy its beaches, restaurants, galleries, shops, and classic Cape Cod atmosphere.
Guests can also drive to Falmouth or Hyannis for ferry access to Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket.
## Historic Home Disclosure
This is a beautiful historic oceanfront estate, not a newly constructed luxury home. It has been enjoyed by generations of families and retains many original and older features.
Guests may notice traditional wood windows and window pulls, original or older kitchen cabinets, aged flooring in certain areas, and a pool surface that reflects its age. These features are maintained and functional, but they may show normal wear and imperfections consistent with a heavily enjoyed historic vacation property.
We provide this information so guests can book with the proper expectations and appreciate the home for its character, space, amenities, views, and exceptional location.
## Good Neighbor Policy
The property is located in a higher-end residential oceanfront community with full-time residents nearby. We welcome respectful family vacations and friend groups staying at the home, but we cannot accommodate weddings, parties, large events, or unapproved gatherings.
By booking, guests agree to respect the property, our neighbors, and all Town of Plymouth regulations.
### Registered Guests and Visitors
Family gatherings and friend groups consisting of the registered overnight guests are welcome. Any additional visitors, guests, or gatherings must receive prior written approval.
### Parking
A maximum of six vehicles is permitted at the property. Additional vehicles require advance approval and may need to park off-site.
### Noise
Loud music, excessive noise, disruptive behavior, and repeated late-night arrivals or departures are not permitted.
Please be particularly considerate when using the covered porch, pool area, backyard, fire pit, or hot tub, as outdoor voices and music can carry to neighboring homes.
### Quiet Hours
Larger outdoor gatherings should end by 10:00 PM. Quiet conversation on the covered back porch is welcome, but noise must remain respectful.
The Town of Plymouth maintains a 24-hour reasonable-noise ordinance, meaning excessive or disruptive noise is prohibited at all times—not only during traditional quiet hours.
### Shared Driveway
The driveway is shared with neighboring residents. Guests must drive slowly, keep the driveway clear, avoid blocking access, and remain considerate when arriving and departing.
### Not a Party House
This home is intended for respectful family and friend stays only. Weddings, parties, large events, and unapproved gatherings are prohibited.
Serious violations of the occupancy, parking, event, or noise rules may result in removal from the property without a refund.
### Exterior Cameras
Exterior security cameras monitor entrances, parking areas, the outside of the home, and portions of the surrounding property for safety and compliance with parking, occupancy, and noise rules. There are no cameras inside the home.
