Amazing house
We had a great time. The house was nice and spacious the kitchen was perfect, the back yard and hot tub were well maintained and perfect for the kids to run and have fun. The only downside was the water in the lake did not look clean so we drove 10 mins to a park.

From the owner: “I’m glad you enjoyed the home’s spacious layout, the well-equipped kitchen, and the backyard and hot tub for family fun. While this guest noted the lake water, many visitors also enjoy nearby parks and beaches just a short drive away. I strive to keep the home welcoming and comfortable so future guests can enjoy the same relaxing experience.”
I loved it. The view was amazing and it was easy to access. highly recommend. The only thing is the bank beds are really flimsy and squeak if they have adults in them. 2 rooms have these. The paddle boards and boat doc are great!
This property was perfect for our group. It was just the right size and had lots of room in the backyard for the kids to play. It was in the ideal location to get to everything. Carolyn was easy to contact and the sweetest in helping us when one of the kids left their stuffed animal.
Loved the size of the property and that there were so many bedrooms and beds. The location is great, right on the lake, and we enjoyed being able to lounge on the lawn and dock. The only downside was that some of the kitchen items aren't in great shape and/or need to be replaced, including some knives and a leaky measuring cup. Those are minor and we loved it overall!

From the owner: "I am so sorry the insects were a problem. We have the house sprayed for that several times each year. We had warm weather coming on very quickly, which may have accounted for the problem. I am sorry it inconvenienced you. I hope your stay was enjoyable despite the problem."

House and everything in it is old. Minimum to no amenities for the price. Best part is location and yard size.

From the Owner: "I do hope you enjoyed your stay. It is a beautiful old house built in 1954 with many unique touches from that time. Although it is old we do keep it exceptional clean. I think most guests have enjoyed the amenities that the older home offers. We try to keep it very well furnished to provide for all needs. I'm glad you enjoyed the yard and location."
The house and property were great. The patio and lawn were perfect for playing games and hanging out. Grill and kitchen were perfect for the meals we prepped. The sliding glass door is sticky and needs some work. We had hoped to swim mode but the dock and ladder are not safe and the water is super shallow.
Our blended family of 7 had an absolute blast vacationing in Moses lake. The home was in the perfect location. We loved the view of the lake and took full advantage of all the amenities, from swimming off the dock to relaxing in the hot tub. The house was huge with everyone able to have their own room. The kitchen was well stocked and an easy set up for bbq’s and family dinners. On our departure my youngest son forget his jerseys and the host so generously shipped them to us immediately. We highly recommend this location to any family / large group looking to get away and enjoy lake life.

Good house-needs a deep clean
Pros: Right on the lake, 5 bedrooms, lots of lawn games, dock.
Cons: it was filthy…bugs and flies everywhere, floors were dirty, windows had cob webs and flies in them, walls, kitchen ceiling, and doors had splatter on them, the baseboards haven’t been wiped down in forever it looks like.
I think you get the picture.

From the owner: "Jason, thanks for staying with us! We are sorry that your experience fell short of your expectations.
- We use a cleaning service to have the home professionally cleaned before each guest's arrival. We wish you had reached out during your stay if there were any issues you needed to be addressed. We would have done everything we could to resolve them immediately so that you could enjoy the home.
- We realize that it has been a very hot summer and there are a lot of insects outside; more than usual. Since we are right on the lake, it attracts more insects. We have tried everything we can to alleviate it.
- We have had the home sprayed for bugs on the outside several times. We have insect repellent lights and Centinela lights. We hose down the cobwebs on the outside regularly.
We will look into other ways to combat these issues and we thank you for your feedback."
Nice, large, lakefront house had plenty of space for our family (grandparents, kids, grandkids) to spread out. Wonderful view of the lake. Well provided with utensils, appliances, toiletries, linens, etc. Paddle boards, small row boat, and lawn games appreciated by younger folks. Hot tub was also appreciated. Mature landscaping contributed to the peaceful effect. There is some road noise and the house does show traces of wear and tear, but is overall very nicely kept and decorated. The beds were all quite comfortable, although a bit low for the older folks to get into and out of. A tiny quibble: the kitchen knives were dull and there was no cheese slicer. Overall, we would strongly recommend, particularly for larger groups and families.
Great communication from owners, who were super accommodating and friendly on Christmas Eve when I misplaced the entry code. A nice lit Christmas tree was waiting for us on our arrival, too! Lovely views, a great hot tub, and plenty of room to stretch out comfortably. Use of the garage to park was a major bonus since it was so cold outside. Only small suggestion is that it might be time to replace a few pieces of tired furniture such as the master bedroom nightstands. Overall, a wonderful property.
The house was in great condition and very clean, there were a few minor problems but the owner, Carolyn, was very accessible, accommodating and guided us through our issues.
We will definitely rent this house again!!!
I booked this property for a mini family getaway. We really liked the location, grocery stores, coffee shops and restaurants are close by. If you want to go off roading dunes are about 10 minutes away and its right on the water with a private dock. The only downfall is that hill that leads down to the water is no joke lol. It is much steeper than it looks in the photos, but it was not a big deal. Other than that great place , will definitely stay here again.
good size place plenty of room. good supply of t-paper and napkins and utensils. cleanliness was below par. We rented a boat and did some depth with anchor on the channel and very shallow 8 to 10 feet deep lots of pond weed in lake too.

Hi Chad, Thanks for letting us know about your stay. After going over your feedback, the homeowner wanted to address the items that you mention:
-We take the cleanliness of our home very seriously and are saddened to hear that our standards were not met during your stay. Our cleaning lady has garnered a great reputation with both us and our guests. To ensure this was an isolated incident we will make sure to double-check our protocols.
-Unfortunately, due to high temperatures, we have seen the lake's water level drop significantly. This has the effect of creating more lake vegetation. We understand that this can be frustrating but have no control over these matters.
We appreciate you taking the time to leave a review as we are always working to provide a truly wonderful experience for our guests.
