Four Blocks To Beach & Boardwalk + Pet Friendly

Location: We are on 13th Street between West and Asbury, four blocks from the beach and bay, close to Asbury shops & eateries, steps from Wawa, Wells Fargo, Piccini, and Walgreens. There is parking for one car in the driveway (there is a door on the driveway that cannot be blocked), you can block the mouth of the driveway with another car, and additional cars can find street parking around the house.

Home Sweet Shore Home is a 122 year old, three floor home that sleeps 10 with an open floor plan on the main floor allowing for the whole family to gather. Granite kitchen with stainless appliances has an island that seats three, dining table seats six, and a card table is available with four extra chairs for group dinners.

Relax on the sofa and love seat in front of the flat screen TV and pull over a small two seater for additional seating, gather around the coffee table to play games. Enjoy your morning coffee on the porch, or a book in the afternoon shaded by the awnings. Powder room located off the kitchen.

There are two bedrooms (one with a queen bed, one with a king bed) and two baths (one with standing shower, one with tub/shower) on the second floor. Up another flight of steps are two bedrooms on the third floor, connected by a door (walk through bedroom three to get to bedroom four). One bedroom has a queen and single bed, and one bedroom has a queen and two single bunk beds.

We are four blocks from the beach right in the middle of everything - walkable to anything downtown and the world famous Ocean City boardwalk. Ocean City is truly a great town to spend time in, perfect for families and groups of friends. Plenty to do and see! We'd love to have you stay with us.

NOTES:
1. There are only two TVs in the house - one in the living room, and one on the top floor. Both are Roku Smart TVs with no standard cable. There is Hulu live - that MUST remain logged in on the house account - and other streaming available & guests may use their own and log out upon departure.
2. It will appear you can park two cars in the drive. You cannot do that without also blocking the ground floor apartment door.
3. There is no central air. The main floor is cooled by a mini split. Every bedroom has window AC and fans.
4. If you are looking for new construction and new everything, there are many great places for you in Ocean City but we are not it!

We have: Wireless Internet, eight beach tags, outdoor shower (shared with ground level). Window AC in each bedroom. Wall AC on main floor. TV, books to borrow, and games to play in living room. Beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, and sand toys to use in cubby under house (we do not check outdoor items in between guests, please report if chairs or umbrellas are broken so we can replace immediately from a store in town). You bring sheets, towels, and beach towels. Kitchen hand towels, bath hand towels, and towel mats are provided.

Age: You must be 26 years old to sign our lease. No prom, senior week, or teenager vacation inquiries. Don't waste our time, and parents, don't rent on behalf of your teens. That will result in immediate eviction with no return of funds.

Pets: We are dog-friendly with an additional $100 fee. Dogs must be current on shots and flea/tick meds. If your dog leaves a mess, expect an additional charge upon check out. Dogs only, absolutely no other animals. If your dog is an incessant barker, we are not a good fit!

To reserve: signed contract is due within 24 hours and a 50% deposit is due within seven days. Reservations are not guaranteed until both contract and deposit are received and if not received within the dates provided, the week is still available and can be rented to someone else.

House rules: VRBO renters must sign and return our rental contract. Absolutely no eating in bedrooms, no political flags or signs on our balcony or railings, no senior week or under 26 rentals, no smoking any substance inside (outside only), musical instruments and dogs must be approved by owner, only one car in driveway, no flushing of anything other than natural waste and toilet paper in toilets, under bed storage is off-limits.
