Luxury cabin get away

We had such a nice relaxing weekend. It was absolutely perfect for our purposes being close to Bethel Woods venue. It was serene and relaxing we enjoyed having the windows open, grilling, walks down and around the lake. My trip was exactly what the doctor ordered!

Great Fall Weekend

This property was great for a group of friends to have a short, calm Catskills weekend! Loved the porch and windows facing the lake and trees around the property, and was impressed by the lichen and the book showing Scott and Eli’s process to build the property.

Perfect Lakehouse Getaway

My husband and I had a great time in Smallwood. The house is beautiful and well maintained. The perfect getaway place for a small group of people. Eli was very responsive to all of our questions. If we ever go back to the Catskills we would definitely rent this house again.

Gorgeous house in serene setting

This well-maintained, perfectly appointed home was the perfect place for a summer getaway for my husband, son, and myself. They are avid fishermen and enjoyed the lake and surrounding streams. I enjoyed the cleanliness of the house and peacefulness of the lake. Perfect hosts. Not a single complaint.

Perfect location for relaxing

The property is well maintained and decorated nicely. It’s both comfortable and cozy. Good location and the deck is great for watching sunset or sunrise. There is no AC but I was there for heatwave and it was fine. I recommend walking around the lake, going to the private beach and eating at any of the restaurants on Horseshoe Lake Rd. Highly recommend this place, it’s beautiful and well stocked with anything you may need for stay.

This is a true gem. The whole property looks exactly like on the pictures. With beautiful view of the lake, stunningly decorated house, you are in for a threat. Check in process as well as any communication with the owner was prompt and uncomplicated. Well stuck kitchen, comfortable beds, night sky full of stars, we could not ask for anything better. There are a few great restaurants so no need to cook dinners, took owner 's recommendations for swimming in Toronto Reservoir and loved every minute of it.One of the best rental properties we have been in. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Perfect weekend escape with friends

We had the most perfect fall, weekend getaway! Eli and Scott's home was simply perfect for a weekend getaway. The house was charming and comfortable. We enjoyed cooking in the well-stocked and organized kitchen. Coffee on the terrace with a view of the lake and fall foliage was a highlight, as well as talking around the fire pit under the full moon. The house was meticulously clean, and had the comforts of a real home. The setting was beautiful, and centrally located to explore the surrounding area. Ten stars!!
