Discover your own favorite nook in this cozy and accommodating cabin. Maybe it will be the coffee nook that our guests can experience as they start their day. Maybe it will be the newly designed fire pit nook that kids and adults alike can share s’mores and stories while making lifelong memories. Maybe it’s the kids' nook with a natural playhouse outdoors or the game room with full size arcade games downstairs (added for 2022). Or the hot tub area where guests can relax after a day of hiking and exploring. And don’t forget the scenic nooks all around with decks that compliment not only the front of the cabin but back and upstairs level too. The possibilities are endless!
Whether you are looking to plan a family weekend to remember, a girls or guys annual trip, or a couples weekend , we promise you will find your own nook at our cozy cabin lodge (sleeps 16!)

New for 2022: Newly finished lower level adding 2 large bedrooms and 1 bath, game room and living area w/70" TV. This is our favorite spot at the cabin.

Pictures need updated. Twin beds not in each rooms. More of a bunk room- fun for the kids. Nestled in the outdoors- lots of fun for Big Foot hunting. Would not advise if anyone has any mobility issues. No easy way to get into the house (a lot of large rock gravel leading to the stairs). One of our adults fell. No alcohol involved. A lot of stairs. Overall nice place. Host is response when messaged.

We were here for a family vacation and this was perfect for us, since we had four families with children. When we weren't hiking and exploring Hocking Hills, this was a great place to hang out, especially in the lower level where it was cooler and had the pool table and arcade games. The hot tub was a hit, too! Because it was so close, we visited Rockbridge Nature Preserve, which we likely wouldn't have done otherwise. We recommend it! And even closer is Revolution Rockbridge Winery, just a 1-minute drive away. Definitely recommend them too! The only issue is that the bedroom layouts didn't match the pictures. Maybe this was a recent change since I didn't see other reviewers mention this, but now all the bunk beds are in one room. This would be great for a group with older kids or teens, but ours weren't quite ready to share a room without their parents. We made it work out, though, with one family sharing the bunks and the rest sharing king beds.

Our family had an absolutely wonderful stay at this home! It was the perfect place for our multi-generational family vacation. The house was spacious, clean, and very well stocked with everything we needed. The kitchen had all the essentials for preparing meals, and there was plenty of room for everyone to gather together.The game room was a huge hit with both the kids and adults! We also loved spending evenings around the fire pit and relaxing in the hot tub after long days of exploring Hocking Hills. The comfortable furnishings, large TVs, games, and thoughtful amenities made it easy to feel right at home.One thing worth mentioning is that the driveway is quite steep. Thankfully, the owners provide a flat parking area at the bottom of the driveway, which made parking much easier and gave us peace of mind.The location was perfect—close enough to enjoy all the attractions while still feeling peaceful and secluded. We especially appreciated how family-friendly the home was, with plenty of space, games, and amenities for all ages.We made so many wonderful memories here, laughing, playing games, sharing meals, and simply enjoying being together. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing, well-equipped place to enjoy time with family and friends.

We had a great time. Pictures did not do location justice- way more spacious than it looks. We had a crew of 9 adults and 5 children and had ample space. Fire pit and hot tub was amazing and a lot todo outside for kids. Hosts were great as well!

The cabin location was great! Hot tub , grill, refrigerator, oven, microwave, fans all worked great. The cabin was spacious enough for all of us. The featured pictures of the cabin were outdated. The cabin was under renovation in multiple rooms. Doors & door knobs were broken, light switches were missing switches ( just a piece sticking out of the switch plate). The long gravel hill driveway made it difficult to load & unload. Of course we can't forget the coffee pot being broken & the upstairs shower filling with water. We still enjoyed our get away, in spite of the inconveniences!

Beautiful place! We enjoyed every minute of our stay, and the kids loved running around while the adults relaxed carefree. The coffee provided was a great touch. The only minor downside was the walk up to the cabin through the gravel, but overall, we’d absolutely recommend it!

This is the perfect location and room for everyone! Each room was spacious and cozy! Our kids enjoyed the play ground, while the adults enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub and different decks to enjoy the outdoors! 10/10 would recommend staying here for any large family trying to find a place large enough to fit everyone!

We loved our stay at this cabin. The description was a perfect match with what we walked in to. The check-in process was easy and quick. The cabin was very spacious and had a ton of bedrooms to accommodate many people. The cabin was in a perfect location for hiking, going to Lake Logan, going to restaurants and grocery stores. We really enjoyed our time here and I would highly recommend.

My husband and I are quite the dreamers. I enjoy writing children's books and we both love new places and adventures. So when our joint vision of owning a rental cabin came true, we knew we would take the steps to make this cabin truly feel like a home away from home. Raising three little boys, we knew we wanted to begin making those wonderful memories of family getaways with hikes in the woods and evenings around the fire.

Why they chose this property

Growing up, I recall my dad taking us on adventures to explore the magical rock outcroppings and walking trails among hocking hills. So when it came time to decide on a location, the answer was quite simple...Hocking Hills.
We knew we wanted to find a getaway that had it all. Land, enough space, and close to attractions. That’s why it took us more than a year to find the perfect retreat.
We felt ourselves truly relax the moment we drove the winding, wooded road leading to the cozy cabin. And once we explored the land with our three little boys, we knew we would make many family memories here.
We believe this property has something to meet everyone’s needs. Whether it’s trails for kid and adults alike to explore, being close to attractions like a winery and old mans cave, or a place to come and read a book in front of the fire, we offer it all.

What makes this property unique

Our cabin has many unique features we can’t wait for you to experience. A treehouse with a slide offers a place for kids to play. Roast marshmallows and make s'mores around our fire pit. End your day by soaking in our relaxing hot tub or watch the kids play around the property.
