This beautifully decorated two story home is nestled against the dramatic backdrop of the Santa Rosa Mountains. Desert Gem offers a quiet retreat in a premium location. For those who enjoy cooking, we have a spacious kitchen fully equipped including everything necessary to prepare a gourmet meal as well as a Keurig coffee maker. A commercial size BBQ grill is steps away from the house located at the pool, spa and fitness room. The master bedroom has a king sized bed, master bathroom, and a private balcony to enjoy your morning coffee. The two guest rooms have queen beds. A private patio off the dining room has outside seating. There’s a laundry room with a full size washer and dryer. You will have the use of one space in the attached garage plus a parking pass for overnight street parking within our neighborhood.

This gated community is only one mile from the Polo Field venue which is the home of the famous Coachella and Stagecoach festivals in April, and three miles from the Indian Wells Tennis Garden which is the site of the BNP Open held in March. For the horse lovers, HITS Coachella Desert Horse show is in December. The house is less than two miles from Old Town La Quinta and about five miles from El Paseo where the restaurants and shopping are plentiful. For the golfers, Desert Gem is a half mile from Silver Rock Resort and a couple of miles from several PGA Golf Courses.

I met and married the love of my life 3-1/2 years ago. We purchased a new home together in La Quinta just down the way as we combined our families and lives. Desert Gem has become a vacation home for family, friends, and guests.
Why they chose this property
We are so very close to the luxuries of fine dining, shopping, entertainment, hiking, biking, golf, tennis, yet away from all the hustle and bustle of city life. The swimming pool and spa is a perfect place to float and unwind even further. It’s simply stunning here.
What makes this property unique
The property has the best location within our gated community. It’s away from any street noise, so it’s quiet. We are at the end of a walkway and surrounded by beautiful landscaping with a large grassy area in front. It’s very private.
